    • tbh, after having played a bit with Apple Log I concluded for myself that 4k framegrabs are my new way of taking photos that are (for my hobbyish usage) good enough that my a7c stays at home all the time. It is not the most joyable shooting experience for sure and you really have to get close to get some DoF blur, but the quality and turnaround time is just.. perfect for me.
    • Great, you guys! The newly sparkled enthusiams could be channeled into an Eoshd filming challenge. Last one was five years ago:) @kyewould be in and put his GX85 up against the Blackmagic Full Frame Raw Cine Beast. My camera of choice for that would be the classic Cinealta F3 in 8bit Slog internal mode to contribute some additional spiceyness. What do you think? Some Magic Lantern goodness in the mix or some Z9 mayhem or some Canon Ti 8bit mastery... Let's get rollin!😊
    • I took out my VX980 and film this in the morning. After, I threw it into Final Cut and added Film Convert to it. It was so easy. I let the camera figure the exposure on all the shots, but I had a ND32 on it at all times. All the shots were on a tripod. I probably should have uploaded in 4k, but oh well. It still looks good.
    • I love the look of the video and it has a few hundred views already. So there is hope.:) @kye I still have the 420 8bit  Slog files which came with the SDX cards of my F3 and they grade like a charme. I think the F3 only looks good in Slog though, judging footage on the web. Unfortunately I have not been in the filming mood for months now. But a "challenge" with a few Eoshd friends could change that. Kye and Panny are in!:)
    • I bought one. I couldn’t resist at this price, which I’m sure was Blackmagics hope for many people. I’ve been completely out of the BM ecosystem for a few years but the Pyxis got me starting to reconsider. Now this has pushed me into the deep end 😂
