  1. The Panasonic LA7200 is an anamorphic adapter that creates a 1.33x stretch, so any camera shooting 16:9 will output a Cinemascope ratio for footage for post. I used with my various lenses, Canon EF and FD, Olympus OM, Panasonic, Lomo ecc... It also includes the front and rear lens caps. This adapter uses the taking lens to focus and doesn't need an adapter. It's been a great lens for me to learn with and is great for making the foray into anamorphic shooting.
  2. The Panasonic LA7200 is an anamorphic adapter that creates a 1.33x stretch, so any camera shooting 16:9 will output a Cinemascope ratio for footage for post. I've used this lens with my Panasonic GH4 with great results. This listing will include a 77-49mm step down ring and a 49-52mm step up ring that I used with my Canon FD 28mm (2.8) and 50mm (1.4) lenses as well as my Mir 37mm and Helios 58mm lenses. It also includes the front and rear lens caps. This adapter uses the taking lens to focus and doesn't need an adapter. It's been a great lens for me to learn with and is great for making the foray into anamorphic shooting. Please ask if you have any questions and I am open to offers. Used Panasonic lenses: 12-35mm 2.8, 20mm 1.7 and 42.5mm 1.7. Used a Tiffen Black Satin Filter to get rid of the sharpning artifacts still left over at -5 and add some smoothness to highlights and shadows. Budget: about 0$.

  8. I gave Nikon a shot, and got good results, but I just still aesthetically prefer Panasonic, so I'm hoping to find someone here who might want to trade their G6 for a D5200. It will include 1 Nikon battery, 1 Vivitar battery, 1 Nikon charger, 1 neck strap, and the Nikon 18-55 3.5-5.6 kit lens. I also have two Nikon Nikkor Ai primes: 28mm 2.8 and 50mm 1.4. I'd also like to get the Panasonic 14mm 2.5 lens. If someone wants to buy instead of trade, well that's fine by me too.
  9. First 2 videos are in 4K 30p. Last video was shot in 1080p30. You see a little less noise in 1080p because of the crop and that's why I decided to shoot it in that mode. All clips done in fully automatic. Shutter was always at 60.
  10. I was lucky to have received a test unit of the Panasonic UX90 camcorder. I have it until the 28th of this month. I wrote a lot more in the description of the video. I can't wait to do more videos with this such as a Lion Dance competition coming up.
  11. Shot this on my GH4 in one night. Used some color foils on my cheap Yongnuo YN300 LEDs and my Panasonic 20mm 1.7 lens. Recording was done internally in 4K DCI VLOG 8 bit, so some artifacts are definitely there. Tried to create a dark, gritty but colorful look. Still in love with this small, little and reliable camera. Director, writor and main actor: Uche Aguh
  12. Very clean camcorder, great video output to dual cards, huge zoom range, great audio. Exceptionally clean, less than 300 hours. Includes Azden shotgun microphone with Omni cartridge. $1650 plus shpping.

  14. This video was recorded close to Shirokovskaya hydrostation (Russia, Perm region). The hydrostation was built mostly by German prisoners of war during the world war second years. 16. I'm selling a Panasonic AF 101 in very good condition. Let's say asking price is £1,995 but I'm open to sensible offers as the camera is not in use now since buying a Canon C100mk2. I'm asking for £550 (CVP price is £825 inc VAT)
  17. My new years resolution for 2016 is to take my camera as many places as I can and make a monthly video summary! I had a little go at practising this last month in December, I didn’t film nearly as much as I would have liked but hopefully I’ll get better at it over the new year. Cheers for watching, I'll keep anyone who's interested up to date with how its going - it would be really cool if anyone's doing the same or similar to share their videos too.
  18. Here is a video presentation for VariCam dual native ISO, quite amazing new technology. Found the article on News Shooter http://www.newsshooter.com/2014/11/28/panasonic-varicam-native-iso-of-800-and-5000-how-do-they-do-it/
  19. Hey guys! I'm looking to get into video work, and I'm trying to figure out which camera would best suit my needs. I'm looking for a camera with great stills as well as video. The 3 main contenders for me are panasonic's gh3 and g6 and Nikon's d5300. All of them offer full HD at 24 at 60fps, which is crucial for me. They also all have a 3.5mm jack for external microphone. These specs are similar, but Panasonic's seem to be better for video. If it was video alone, I would choose the Panasonic cameras. But, I'm also looking for great stills. Right now I have the sony a58, and I don't want anything under the quality of its stills. The d5300 has better dynamic range, AF, sensor size, and low light performance. I've heard that the d5300 is one of the best APS-C sensor cameras for video, but it's also one of the most annoying to use. I don't want to sacrifice any stills/video quality. Which would you guys suggest? Here's a post by eoshd themselves against the d5300. http://www.eoshd.com/2014/02/nikon-d5300-review/ I would really appreciate the help!
  20. This was shot entirely hand held with the GH4, 12 35 2.8. Edited on Premiere Pro, with post stabilization. CineD @4K 25p
  21. Hi fox ! This is my last edit, a short film about freestyle snowboarding. A beautiful day in a marvelous park (La Clusaz) with the two killers Matteo Cuny and Nicolas Palladio. Top of the pop, we finished with a beautiful sunset. So glad and happy to have shot this. Comments are welcome dudes! Some pics of the session can be found here : http://www.switchmag.fr/decouverte/2015/11391-session-park-a-la-clusaz-matteo-cuny-nico-palladio.html
  22. Hi all, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind looking at some of my work and giving me some constructive criticism. I've graduated from film on the gh2 to currently the gh4 and I've started my own local film business. Nothing massive just a hobby I enjoy so why not get paid to do it. Please take a look and let me know what you think. I'm always willing to try new things and learn from past mistakes. Thanks for your time http://m.youtube.com/channel/UCcn5e_l0y_ryAUJ5VXSXK3A
  23. I'm starting to set myself up a small videography business: just a one-man-band doing local stuff - community group promos, weddings, etc. I'm still working on the website (www.lintelfilms.co.uk) and have just finished the 2nd draft of my promotional film. I'd really appreciate your feedback on the film. I don't mind at all if you are brutal!
  24. Panasonic GH2 hacked Moon Trial 5 hack, shot in 1080p HBR mode 25 fps (~ 60Mbps) Standard profile -2-2-2-2 Panasonic 14-42mm kitlens, OIS on. Looks like there are some dropped frames in the GH2 footage, did use a Sandisk 95MB/s card though... Panasonic G6 AVCHD 1080p 25 fps (24Mbps) Standard profile -5-5-5-5 Panasonic 14-42mm kitlens, OIS on. Everything shot with the same fixed white balance at 1/50s, various apertures but same on both camera's at all times. My first impressions: The G6 looks better to me. Better shadow detail and a bit more detail in the highlights. Probably due to flatter picture. The G6 shares the picture styles with the GH3, so no smooth like on the GH2. Kept both camera's on standard to keep it as close as possible. Everything dialed down maximum. Less noise at high iso's, less banding. Couldn't detect any moire. Looks a tad less sharp than (hacked) GH2, but that could be up to the sharpening at -5. With some sharpening probably same detail level. Rolling shutter looks the same to me. Although the G6 is a bit smaller I actually prefer the grip to the GH2. It holds very nicely. The lcd is much much better. The color cast on the GH2 screen is horrible. The G6 looks pretty natural and true to the output. Funny thing: the viewfinder looks quite smaller to me.
