Yeah it is but output at 6K is an issue with heat and data. We can't get 4K 30fps full sensor readout on a A7 series Sony.  If they can't get this right then 8K will have the same flaws as their 4K does.

Oh I think the body will have a vent, or a fan just like the Panny S1H, the PK4 or this new Sigma FP. There is just too much heat to have these little thin bodies anymore.

I’d rather see Sony stick with the smaller MP sensor and not do more than 4K. Give us more cine features and a more robust codec with higher frame rates.

If we want 10bit 4k internal I don't think it can be done without bigger bodies. I think a body like the Panasonic S1 is going to be more the norm than a niche product.

absolutely not 6k. They specifically said it is 4K from 6K oversampling which the image shows.
