  1. Anamorphic Lens Single Focus 2x Custom Vintage Cinemascope Camera Lens On Ebay Price: $999.00 https://www.ebay.com/itm/184651883595?
  2. http://vimeo.com/70264199   I had all but given up on ever finding the perfect 8mm anamorphic lens, but I recently got my hands on what I think is the most rare anamorphic lens that I have ever owned -- the Zeiss Ikon Anamorphot 22/1.5x. It is almost impossible to find any information on this lens. I could not find any pictures of the lens, nor any test footage. In fact, the only reason that I knew that it existed was a tip from anamorphic Godfather Kostas Petsas, who also has one. He compares his Ikon to the Iscomorphot 8/1.5x.   Like the Iscomorphot 8/1.5x, it's an 8mm "baby" lens that is fully rack-focusable. The helicoid is smooth and has a very manageable throw, so focusing is no problem at all as you will see in the test video above. The slightly wider diameter actually makes the lens easier to focus the baby Isco, and of course it is much more focus-friendly than the strenuous focus throw of the Iscorama.     It's a little bigger than the Iscomorphot 1.5x (front filter thread is about 43mm, and rear diameter is about 32mm) but still much smaller and lighter than the Iscomorphot 2x or the Iscorama. It's nice not to have to add in a support system to hold the weight of the additional lens. Coupled with a DSLR, a taking lens with a silver finish and a silver clamp from Redstan, this could be a great stealth anamorphic setup.   I think that perhaps the most substantial difference between the Ikon and the Iscomorphot is that the Ikon is usable when the taking lens is wide open (at least at f/1.8). Though it is not razor sharp like the Iscorama, I don't see a limitation here.    The minimum focus distance is impressive. I've been able to focus as close as 22" wide open without any diopters.   I haven't really put it through the paces yet, but from what I've seen, the lens has some nice, understated character. It's a lot less smeary than some of the 8mm anamorphics that I have used. The flares are thinly stretched blue ovals, similar to my Moller 32/2x (but I think that I may like the Zeiss flares even more).     I have been able to use it with my FS100 with a 50mm lens, which is usually my go-to lens when I first get an anamorphic lens. I'll have to test it to see if I can get away with using a wider taking lens.   I am excited about this lens. It is the easiest, simplest anamorphic lens that I have ever used and the image is very pleasing. I think that this is a winner. If anyone else has one, I'd love to compare notes.

  5. Hi everyone! I wanted to showcase my passion project "The Night Knows No Shore" here on EOSHD. I've been a long time reader of Andrew's blog and it was his footage that inspired me to get an Iscorama a long time ago. After doing tests with it for a while I came up with this idea for a movie. And you can now see the result on youtube: It's a project made by one single actor and one single crew member (me) with one single focal length (a Canon FD 85mm 1.8) and one single focus anamorphic lens ( Iscorama pre-36). Don't expect much action. It's a slow film with lots of monologues and no real plot. It's about one young man's thoughts on society, religion, art, philosophy, life in general. Have a look. If you don't like all the "pretentious" talking, maybe you like the footage. Let me know what you think. If you have any questions, just ask. Enjoy!

  12. FOR SALE: Moller 32/2x Anamorphot Anamorphic Adapter In Good Condition 6/10 $500 Cosmetic: 6 Has scratches and wear on outer body. But none of the cosmetic imperfections affect the over-all lens performance. No dents or damage to the lens body that affect performance. The focus is a little stiff, but nothing a tune up and grease won’t fix. The front focus gear does need to be lubed, greased and the front element could be dialed in with a focus chart for sharper image. But the lens functions properly. Optical: 7 Has a scratch on the front element and cleaning marks on the rear element. It also has wear on the inner housing that gives veiling when hit with direct beam of light. I don’t have all of the equipment or time to tune up this lens but I can send tests shots if requested. Notes: Very unique Moller 32/2x black non-coated version. Old lens with imperfections, but the imperfections of this lens make it very unique and give it a very unique character.
  13. item: Sankor 16C (black) condition: near mint + original bag and box and caps price: 300$ pics:
  14. looking for Sankor 16C or 16F anamorphic if anyone is looking to sell
  15. Selling this on eBay and the auction ends soon. Incredibly rare Isco anamorphic lens with a 2x squeeze. The glass is phenomenal and I'm not sure what it was originally housed in but the original owner repurposed this and added a professional interna l Iris stage which I've never seen done on any other anamorphic adapter lenses. I'm told the original owner did all this in order to use it as an optical printer lens for making film prints and for occasional use in telecine machines. It was chosen because they needed outstanding sharpness and the highest end optical performance since they were using it to make prints of films and needed close to zero artifacting or generational degradation. Used as an anamorphic shooting lens and paired with a sharp spherical taking lens this thing is unparalleled. Never seen anything like it and I doubt you'll see another one out there for sale ever again. No clamps or Caps Included. Just one gorgeous hunk of glass in a gorgeous elegant housing https://www.ebay.com/itm/182591526146
  16. - PRICE: $599 - STRETCH: 2X - FOCUS: Double-focus - PAYMENT METHOD: Paypal (fees to be paid after initial payment) - LOCATION: Switzerland - SHIPPING: Not included - INCLUDED: Redstan rear adapter with foot support and Redstan front clamp (value = $100). - CONDITION: No scratches and no fungus. Clean glass with the exception of a couple tiny spots on the rear glass. A couple of VERY light scratches that are only noticeable under a light source. Body shows some signs of wear but it works perfectly. Coatings are not flamboyant but the lens creates these signature purple/orange flares perfectly well. I wasn't able to get 1000% tack sharp images, so the lens might need to be serviced. It gives reasonably sharp results though, and my issue might actually come from my taking lens. Bought it from a fellow member of the Anamorphic Shooters group on FB and barely used it because of a decrease in filmmaking activity. - COMMENTS: I can send some footage via wetransfer. Open to offers.

  21. Please let me know if you have an Iscorama to sell. Thanks!
  22. Selling my Iscorama Pre-36 beauty with the original taking lens! I bought this for a feature film back in 2014 and paid way more than my asking price. Used only indoors for 7 solid days. Upon completion the lens went back into the pelican where it was stored in my studio for the past 3 years. I've held onto it for sentimentality and because it's gorgeous but now it's time to say goodbye. No scratches. Very clean glass. No fungus. The usual internal dust inside the elements as one would expect from a lens that's from the late 1960s. Some mild oxidation on the physical barrel that bars no effect on image quality. I really love this lens and I'm sad to see it go but hopefully it will find a better home with more usage. I'm located in Los Angeles, California but will ship worldwide upon payment. ASKING $4,250 Also included in this sale; • SLR Magic 77 MC Achromatic Diopter +0.33 • SLR Magic 77 MC Achromatic Diopter +1.3 • (3) 72mm FUJIMI CLOSE FILTERS - +1, +2, +4 • Pelican 1200 Carrying Case ALL ITEMS CU FILTERS FRONT ELEMENT INSIDE CASE PELICAN CASE SIDE VIEW SIDE VIEW_2
