    WTB: Iscorama pre-36

Please let me know if you have an Iscorama to sell. Thanks!
  2. Selling my Iscorama Pre-36 beauty with the original taking lens! I bought this for a feature film back in 2014 and paid way more than my asking price. Used only indoors for 7 solid days. Upon completion the lens went back into the pelican where it was stored in my studio for the past 3 years. I've held onto it for sentimentality and because it's gorgeous but now it's time to say goodbye. No scratches. Very clean glass. No fungus. The usual internal dust inside the elements as one would expect from a lens that's from the late 1960s. Some mild oxidation on the physical barrel that bars no effect on image quality. I really love this lens and I'm sad to see it go but hopefully it will find a better home with more usage. I'm located in Los Angeles, California but will ship worldwide upon payment. ASKING $4,250 Also included in this sale; • SLR Magic 77 MC Achromatic Diopter +0.33 • SLR Magic 77 MC Achromatic Diopter +1.3 • (3) 72mm FUJIMI CLOSE FILTERS - +1, +2, +4 • Pelican 1200 Carrying Case ALL ITEMS CU FILTERS FRONT ELEMENT INSIDE CASE PELICAN CASE SIDE VIEW SIDE VIEW_2

    WTB: Iscorama 54, non-mc

Title says it all. Payment via PayPal, shipping on me.
  4. Nearly mint condition Iscorama 2004 anamorphic lens You have in front of you probably one of the most qualitative anamorphic lens ever made by Iscorama. The is a very rare lens, the last one ever sold on the web dates back to 2013. This Iscorama 2004 is a monobloc lens composed of a Leica 50mm f/2 Summicron-R donor lens, and an Iscorama 42 MC anamorphic element (I would guess because of the shape, but the box says 36). The lenses and the mount are precisely aligned, so no need for alignment anymore. It results a sharp image, a little bit of deformation, and the famous anamorphic bokeh. And... to finish well. The lens covers full frame sensors. Technical specifications : Brand : Isco Germany Model : Iscorama 2004 Lens Mount : Leica R Squeeze factor : 1.5x (1.42x to be precise) Focal : 50mm Horizontal field of view : 35mm Apertures : 2, 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16 Aperture blades : 6 Front filter thread : 82mm Dimensions : 100x82x82mm Weight : 800g Package content : lens, front cap, rear cap, original box You can preview pictures of the lens here : https://1drv.ms/f/s!ApPNj1C2_E6GnOFW8PWEfXrO8EDFUw And pictures taken with the lens here : https://1drv.ms/f/s!ApPNj1C2_E6GnOFwwD9gpbeoGof6-Q The item is sold as is. Price : make an offer. The lens will be sold to the best bid.

All of budget but decent quality. isco http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Iscorama-Set-ISCO-S8-2x-Animex-Anamorphic-Lens-Attachment-single-focus/232483641842 rangefidner http://www.ebay.com/itm/SLR-Magic-Rangefinder-single-focus-solution-for-anamorphic-lenses-basic-version/232483615371 bmmcc http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blackmagic-Design-Micro-Cinema-Camera-Body-Only-CINECAMMICHDMFT/232483678200 monitor (has some desqueeze for anamorphic) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Neway-7-HDMI-field-monitor-with-manual-anamorphic-desqueeze/232483687880 angenieux (black clone, MIJ) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Angenieux-25mm-f-0-95-C-Mount-Lens/232483693338 Best, Max.
  7. Link to auction at bottom of post. If you want to tell me about how this is overpriced and blah blah blah save it and don't message me with your sad whiny comments. Sorry to roll in hot here but every time I let the anamorphic community know I'm selling a super rare expensive item I get bombarded by a bunch of little cry baby failures who can't afford to buy precision high end gear and so they post complaints about the pricing or the injustice of me selling amazing gear that they can't afford because they are smug little losers without money living in their parents basement obsessively refreshing message board pages just waiting to spew forth their venomous vitriol thinly masking their self hatred and depression regarding the pathetic state of their sad boring failure of a life. Save your stupid selfish thoughts for your Mommy cause she's the only one who cares to listen to Mommy's special angel. Ok now that that's over with....I'm selling the nicest damn iscorama 54 lens you'll ever see ever. 24hr auction. Act fast. Here are the details kiddos: You'll never ever see an iscorama 54 MC in this good of condition. It is flawless mint condition. I'm putting this up for 1 day only. Bidding starts at 6k. Some will tell me that that's too expensive. I'm of the opinion that it's worth at least 7500$ in this type of shape. How this lens is in practically brand new condition being somewhere in the order of 50 years old is perplexing. This should be in a museum. This auction is for one day. If it doesn't sell I might put it back on the shelf and keep it....not sure honestly what I'll do if it doesn't sell by tomorrow morning. I'm already regretting doing this but I need to raise 20k asap for a non gear related issue so I'm in lunatic liquidation mode. I can't stress this enough....this thing is a work of art. So beautiful. On top of that I have a ridiculously rare iscorama pre 36 cinegon version that is also in mint condition and paired with a custom "Richard Gale Optics" 58mm Arri PL mount taking lens specifically engineered for the iscorama cinegon. It's equally a work of art so if you are interested in that as well check out my auction page. Comes with a redstan clamp and follow Focus gear. Original box included as well. No Caps unfortunately but I assure you I'll find some other roughly fitting Caps to put on to protect the glass during shipping. Good luck and bring your checkbooks to the party. Lets do this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/182609506564
  8. See my last post on the Isco 54 to read my offensive pre-amble to these lens sales. Kisses Ebay auction ends in 24hrs. Link at bottom of post. Super expensive over priced mint condition Iscorama pre 36 Cinegon Anamorphic Lens with redstan clamp and custom made dog schidt optics pl mount 58mm spherical taking lens. Absolute mint condition. You'll never see this again because nothing like it exists on this plane of existence. Yes it's way overpriced and you can't afford it so don't buy it because I'm an idiot for even thinking of selling the jewel of the Nile. Set for 24hr auction cause I'm desperate for fast cash. Likely to greedily out it back in my safe tomorrow morning once no one bids on it because I'm so so stupid for trying to sell it. If you are drooling and have ridiculous sums of disposable money then make my nightmare a reality and buy my most favorite beautiful precious lens I've ever owned. This thing is so nice. If you have the cash it's impossible for you to be anything but head over heals in love with it at first sight. Good luck. Damn you. https://www.ebay.com/itm/182609548983

    WTB : Iscorama pre/36

Title says it all. Looking for a good copy of the pre36 or 36. I think it's time for me to move on from my 16D.
  10. Selling this on eBay and the auction ends soon. Incredibly rare Isco anamorphic lens with a 2x squeeze. The glass is phenomenal and I'm not sure what it was originally housed in but the original owner repurposed this and added a professional interna l Iris stage which I've never seen done on any other anamorphic adapter lenses. I'm told the original owner did all this in order to use it as an optical printer lens for making film prints and for occasional use in telecine machines. It was chosen because they needed outstanding sharpness and the highest end optical performance since they were using it to make prints of films and needed close to zero artifacting or generational degradation. Used as an anamorphic shooting lens and paired with a sharp spherical taking lens this thing is unparalleled. Never seen anything like it and I doubt you'll see another one out there for sale ever again. No clamps or Caps Included. Just one gorgeous hunk of glass in a gorgeous elegant housing https://www.ebay.com/itm/182591526146
  11. I have posted this on facebook as well. Here's all the info: There's a nice set of s35 primes I found to go with my iscorama, and I need some extra cash to fund it, so I'm about to make a heart-tearing decision to sell my super nice anamorphic setup. This is single focus. Isco s8 2x, Distagon, Rangefinder, clamps and a rail mount. Anamorphic lens – Isco s8, clean glass, no makrs/scratches/fungus, comes in original ISCORAMA SET box. Modded to infinity (I made a tutorial about how to do it here https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=dmMiuMFQSuU ) Barrel of the lens is scratched where all the clamps attach, you can only see it when clamps are off. Taking lens – CY Contax Zeiss Distagon 28 2.8, with green aperture mark (german-made) in like-new condition. Glass is clean, not a mark on it. Distagon has an adapter for micro 4/3, but it's wobbly and I would suggest getting a more expensive one if you will not use rail support. On the front is SLRmagic rangefinder, no witness marks. I bough it from HonKong before they were available in stores, paid $500 to be one of the first people to use it. One cool thing about it is that the 77mm back can be detached, and it reveals the 82 mm threads, which is what more expensive versions have. Not sure if it's standard for all of them or if it's some sort of a pre-production batch. So you can put it closer to the front of the anamorphic adapter, and save a couple of precious millimeters to avoid vignetting. I've never experienced any image softening with this one. Images have virtually same sharpness with the adapter on/off, only slight color change due to blue coating. Two custom made clamps with bunch of spare thumb screws – these were made specifically for the isco, so they fit it really nice. They are made of aluminum, so are lightweight, but have much thicker bodies then anything you can find on the market, including redstan stuff (tho they are not anodized and don't look as good). Clamps are real heavy-duty, I used this setup with follow focus and there's no way these would ever move/loose grip/mess up your alignment. Isco has a black original clamp/ring mounted to the rail support bracket, it provides great support, and feels very solid. I never had any issues with this setup, and always used it on rails with follow focus. Camera in the images is not included. Video shot with this setup – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Fei_iTi_oQ&t=1s Flares and portraits – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0H0LG7vxpM Portrait and bokeh, early test – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNSYqH589kc Focusing test – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2pgHOeF2Jk I am looking to get offers, lens will ship from Ukraine via DHL or FedEx, buyer pays for shipping. Strictly paypal, shipping to paypal address only.

    FS: Iscorama 36 pre

Because of a new investment I am selling my Iscorama pre 36. Only PayPal and sending with Track and Trace. This weekend probably at ebay. Please PM me if you have any interest. The lens is in very good condition.
  13. I've just bought a mint condition iscorama 54 and therefore I'm thinking of selling my old Iscorama 54 MC lens since I likely don't need 2. The lens I'm considering selling is in excellent condition. It's a real beauty but somehow I was lucky enough to find a sparkling mint condition 54. I got lucky. You know this lens...it's hard as hell to find and it's even harder to find in top form. I haven't put up an eBay auction yet. I'm probably going to list the opening bid at $6000.00 (comes with redstan Clamp and form fitted follow focus gear). Yes, that's a lot of money. Yes, that's what I paid for it last year. Yes, it's totally worth it. It's a god damn gem of anamorphic perfection. All the other dual focus projector lenses are little kiddie toys in comparison. If you have a pre-36 and a 54 you simply don't need anything else (well, you need a baby Hypergonar and hardcore dna variable diopter as well but let's not muddy the waters). Who's interested? If you make me a legit serious offer I might be pursuaded to sell direct instead of on an eBay auction. Throwing it out to you guys first since this is where the real loonies like myself hang Let me know. I'll try to post pics soon but I'm not bullshitting you It's a great specimen and if you've been looking for years...you've found it finally
  14. http://www.ebay.com/itm/182433356155?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 This is my first iscorama pre-36 lens and the one that got it all started. There's a very thin scratch on the rear element. It's in the photographs. Honestly it captures gorgeous imagery and I could give a crap about the defect but it's there and you should be aware. If the auction goes well I'll throw in some bonus accessories for no xtra cost but let's see if there are any Isco searchers out there. http://www.ebay.com/itm/182433356155?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  15. I recently came upon a miracle item. Still boxed and packaged in original packaging and likely never opened up since it was purchased originally in late 60s or early 70s. This Iscorama cinegon (the original iscorama anamorphic) . The dk came with a Beaulieu taking lens which screws onto the rear element. Not sure what applications are possible but are likely. Here's the eBay listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/182422480036?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 I have many more auctions....for the next week or so I'll be selling all sorts of gear and accessories. jay

    For sale: Iscorama 54

Hi my anamorphic friends... longtime reader here, first time poster though...   With a bleeding heart, I have decided to sell my pristine and immaculate Iscorama Anamorphot 1,5 x - 54. As longtime readers here I don´t need to tell you that this baby is really the mother of dragons... errr... of Iscoramas. I belive it´s single coated... I´ll put up some photos tomorrow so you can check it out. It comes with three different adapterrings, two lenscaps and a fitting leather case.   Why am I selling it? Just because I need the money for the very interesting cameras that are launching soon or have just been launched. And because I still have my nice little Iscorama Cinegon 1,8/10 that´s working wonderfully on my GH2.... so the Iscorama 54 has to go.   Asking price is 2000 Euros or better... let the bidding war begin. I´m not using ebay, because I frigging hate them and paypal, too. (But will have to re-consider if no suitable offer turns up here...) But for now I will offer this beauty to the eoshd commmunity.   As I said, I´ll put up some photos tomorrow, but I can also send them to you by mail. I honestly would prefer a buyer from Germany and preferably someone living close by... I´m a little hesitant to send this fine lens through the mail... but will do it, of course, if necessary.   OK... offers please to this email adress:   [email protected]   Cheers Ralf (Erjot)
  17. I just listed one on ebay no reserve that I've had sitting around since a project in 2003, see it here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/252639185677

    WTB: anamorphic 1.5x or 1.33x

Looking for a 1.5x or 1.33x anamorphic lens for my Samsung NX1.
  19. Hi there, looking to buy an Isco 36 single coated (the one with the larger rear element, an Iscorama 42 & an iscorama 54. if you have any of these for sale or know of anyone who's selling, please let me know:) thanks!
  20. Hello, I'm selling a follow focus gear for Iscorama 54 anamorphic adapter. It's a custom fit by Sean of followfocusgears. It's brand new, never used. Price is 25 EUR + shipping (9 EUR to most countries). Payment by Paypal. Here's my e-mail: [email protected] All the best, Olivier
  21. Long time no see, guys! I've moved to Vancouver six months ago to attend a VFX intensive course (which isn't over, by the way), and got the lens in a stroke of luck for a decent price, about the same time I moved here. Problem was I had sold my Isco 54 a while back and had no clamp or step rings to make it work. Believe me or not, took me six months to dig some time and go out hunting a decent priced step ring (a guy tried to sell me a 49-67mm for 36 bucks!). The relevant part is I'm able to run tests with it on the following weeks, I believe. I also got a regular Isco 54, and a 36 VD for comparisons. At a first glance, the 16:9 Attachment felt sharper than the 54 and, when shooting 16:9, you go straight to 2.4:1 cinemascope which is a more familiar aspect ratio for a lot of people. More on the lens body, it weights about the same as the 54, but has nice rubber rings for better grip and focus feels more natural than the 54 too (for me, the 54 focus ring is too light, almost sliding out of control). The size is exactly the same as the 54, rear thread is 72mm and front is 95mm. Minimum focus is a tad closer than the default 2m, even though the closest focus mark on the ring says 2m. I'm using a 5D3 for testing, and the lens is free of any vignetting when paired with an Helios 44 (58mm), which unfortunately doesn't happen for the Mir 1B (37mm), that shows a lot of vignette (I wouldn't even call it vignetting, actually, because it takes almost half the frame). It's not a common lens and there isn't much (almost none) information about it on the web, so lets fill this gap. Are there any specific tests or questions you guys want me to try and answer?
  22. Testing out lenses with the Iscorama 36 wide open. I really want that separation from the background. It's easy now with the Metabones Speedbooster EF. There is something to be said about full frame lenses used with the Speedbooster vs micro 4/3rds native lenses. Also the Iscorama is the sharpest of the anamorphic adapters, although there are still some lenses that don't do well wide open. Shot on a GH4 4K (before v2.0 firmware, 16:9). Iscorama minimum distance is around 6 feet, half that with the Tokina +0.4 diopter.
  23. I sent Christopher at vandiemen the payment on September 13 and he promised he can finish my Iscorama modding in 2 weeks. Up until now I have nothing in my hand! I paid half of the modding price on September 13, and then he finally finished the modding on October 14 (1 month vs. 2 weeks he promised). 5 days later with no single reply so I had to follow up with him to make him reply that he WILL ship my lens on Tuesday, October 21! He sent me tracking information on October 21 which made me happy until I discovered on October 31 that my lens has been returned to the sender on the same they it arrived the destination country... 4 days later, Christopher re-shipped me the lens WITHOUT any tracking number! I had to follow up with him via several emails to confirm the shipment has been dispatched with no way to track where it is. That was after the first shipment has been returned and he still sent me with even worse way. Now my $5200 investment is during its travel with no way to know where it is and when it will arrive or maybe not arrive at all :( The worst part is I can't even open a dispute on PayPal since it has passed 45 days timeframe and even I could I still can't since his invoices were not indicating this is a physical item that is eligible for PayPal buyer protection. I expect Christopher would reply me in next 2 business days if not 4-7 days as he did usually.
  24. I've just received my second Iscorama Cinegon. The first Cinegon I have I noticed when I rotate the focus ring below 2m it will just fall apart. This doesn't happen to the original Iscorama I have. I thought it was the fault of my Cinegon at the time since its condition was so bad. When I got another Cinegon it's just exactly the same as the first one. It's like you're screwing the front glass out. So, is it normal for the Cinegon version?
  25. Hi all, I'm having a big clear-out of personal video and audio equipment. Some are auctions, some buy now, some best offer, but all need to go. The big guns here include an Iscorama-type adapter similar to the 54, but a later model, with custom rigging, 1.33x http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Isco-Iscorama-54-1-33x-anamorphic-lens-15mm-mount-DSLR-Red-Arri-Blackmagic-/201204733117?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT an awesome beast of an Angeniuex Cinema lens http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Angeniuex-20mm-120mm-T2-9-Lens-OCT19-EF-mount-Red-Epic-Alexa-Canon-/201204733723?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT an Edelkrone Pocket Rig ideal for little cameras like BMPCC, LX100, RX100 etc http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Edelkrone-pocket-Rig-DSLR-Blackmagic-Pocket-Camera-Support-Rig-For-Small-Cameras-/201203951839?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT also ideal for such cameras is the Hague Mini Motion Cam which includes some optional extras for flying with larger cameras http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hague-Mini-Motion-Cam-Stabiliser-stedicam-for-BMPCC-RX100-LX100-/201205544339?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT There's also other stuff on my account so feel free to have a look, including a lovely valve mic, some guitar pedals, a laptop. I did try selling just in forum, but all sales fell through, so I'm back on eBay now. Many thanks for looking!
