  1. Selling my Tokina 28-70 2.6-2.8 in Nikon mount. A great lens for that creamy classic look. Lens was modified by Duclos Lenses, aperture was declicked and focus ring was added. Rear glass is in pristine condition, front element has some minor marks and a tiny chip in the coating. I do not see this in images even stopped down. No fungus or haze. Price includes shipping CONUS.
  2. Excellent lens in very good condition, no issues at all. Ideally configured for video use - high quality seamless gears for zoom and focus rings have been added (purchased from Helicoptersean), rings can be removed by hand, as they install by friction fit - no tools required. Peli case has its foam plucked to ensure a very snug and secure fit. Comes with Peli 1120 case, Petal sunhood, lens gears, front and rear caps. See more detailed pictures for condition in auction here... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tokina-11-16mm-F-2-8-AT-X-PRO-For-Canon-EOS-with-focus-gears-and-peli-case/25
  3. Quite a unique lens. From Frank Glencairn: "The 28-70 f:2.6 AF was Angenieux’s last consumer oriented zoom, that was targeted towards the pro market. The lens was just as good optically as any other pro zoom lens of the time either by Nikon or Canon. Unfortunately, its price was also on par with the best of the competition, which made it a tough sale. Later on when Angenieux pulled out of the SLR market, Tokina managed to get usage rights to the Angenieux design and produce the AT-X PRO AF 28-70mm f/2.6-2.8 lens." Great condition. I do not have the original box. $350
  4. Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy a Helios 44m-7 lens. I don't trust ebay with this lens as it looks like most are switched plate fakes, unless you know of a reputable seller with one. Also looking to pick up a Tokina +0.4 Diopter, if anyone would like to part with theirs. Thanks!
  5. Hi, check out my latest musicpromo for Hamburg based "Neonschwarz". Mostly shot on GH4 with Metabones, Tokina 11-16 and Sigma 30mm 1.4. Love the 4K modus to make smooth transitions and "dollymoves"... But also a few shots with the 700D with kitlens - can you point them out? ;-)
  6. Testing out lenses with the Iscorama 36 wide open. I really want that separation from the background. It's easy now with the Metabones Speedbooster EF. There is something to be said about full frame lenses used with the Speedbooster vs micro 4/3rds native lenses. Also the Iscorama is the sharpest of the anamorphic adapters, although there are still some lenses that don't do well wide open. Shot on a GH4 4K (before v2.0 firmware, 16:9). Iscorama minimum distance is around 6 feet, half that with the Tokina +0.4 diopter.
  7. Please have a look at the music promo I made using a kowa 8-Z anamorphic adaptor, mounted on a voigtlander Nokton 35mm F1.2, using a Lumix GH3. I also had a Tokina .4 achromat and a Cokin Diopter +2 for the Close ups. It was all shot at night which presented problems as the Lumix isn't very good in low light. I was shooting at 50fps which reduced the amount of light I had even further. I also found that if the lens was fully open it was difficult to get a focus. Not because it was too shallow, but because it wouldn't focus on anything! As you can see I over-cranked the ISO on occas
  8. Hello, I'm selling my Tokina AT-X achromatic diopter in perfect condition for Euro 350,–, including shipping in EU via PayPal only. Please P.M. me if interested. Kind regards, Andreas
  9. Hi, Final call, I'll sell these items on ebay pretty shortly. I am finally ready to give up my Konica Minolta / Sony Alpha ties.. The following lenses are thus for sale (or in various combinations for trade (unlike sale, trades are only in person, Chicago area), in return for Oly 45mm 1.8, Oly 75mm 1.8, Pana 35-100 2.8 - more info below!). I will provide more detail by each lens, but in general, I have tried to set the prices very fairly. I prefer to sell/trade them to people in this community, rather than putting them up on one of the auction sites.. I have tried to include plenty of pictu

  11. Hey guys, I've listed my trusty Tokina achromat +0.4 (yup, the high quality doublet) plus 2 more high quality achromatic diopters (for close-ups) as a 3 piece set on Ebay Germany. They.. just... work...! www.ebay.com/itm/3-achromatic-diopter-SET-Tokina-AT-X-0-4-CLOSE-UP-Olympus-MCON40-MINOLTA-No-0-/111411315171?pt=DE_Foto_Camcorder_Objektive&hash=item19f0a1c1e3 Questions are welcome and will be answerend during the following week.. Happy shooting! Ivor
  12. I shot this after my BMPCC Speed Booster finally arrived. When I mount the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 DX2 to it, I can notice a big problem with sharpness in the center, especially when wide open. The corners, ironically, seem to be way better. Even when stepped down, the sharpness is not really good. Does anyone else have that problem and/or a solution for it?
  13. Hi there - here's a link to download this test: http://vimeo.com/jaemorrison/iscorama54test01 I was interested in seeing what Apertures were sharp with different Achromats & Diopters. Rather than waste even more time cutting a boring video, I've just uploaded a boring image sequence for you to download and step through frame-by-frame. The Achromats and Diopters tested were: Redstan +.25 Achromat Tokina +.4 Achromat Voightlander Focar A Voightlander Focar B And some stacked combinations of the above. Apologies if the test isn't ideal (h264 certainly isn't) - thoug
  14. Hello there. I've picked up an Iscorama 54 (with a struggle, bloody heavy lump). Have been looking for the following without much success: 1: Angenieux single element +0.35 82mm 2: +0.25 82mm achromatic doublet 3: Tokina +0.4 72mm achromat Any links, offers or advice is much appreciated. If you've got any, please let me know via PM what you'd be keen to sell them for. Thanks a lot, Jae.
  15. Hello all, I'm selling my two Tokina Diopters! Both are in excellent condition.
  16. Hi guys! I just wanted to give the heads up in case there's anyone interested in this (and I believe there is, considering how big the GH2 user base is here at EOSHD, the site that got me started!)   Here's the link: vimeo.com/ondemand/3737   At $2.99 it's very affordable, I think you should all give it a chance. I've already bought it but haven't watched it yet. "Musgo", in case you happen to be one of those who don't know, is a Spanish feature film shot entirely on the Panasonic GH2 with an early 44Mbps hack and three lenses (Tokina 11-16mm, Nikkor 28mm f2.8 and Nikkor 50
  17. Shot some small tests with the Iscorama on my d800 last week. Shot on D800 with the nikon 50mm 1.4D and Tokina +0.4 diopter and Hoya +1 diopter. I did the edit in premiere, grading in speed grade and second grade in nuke using some custom grading filters I made using filters from on set.   My site www.robbannister.com   Downloads page http://www.robbannister.com/downloads/   videos CC1 http://vimeo.com/64450588   CC2 http://vimeo.com/64464863   Hopefully I'll have some stuff really worth showing soon.   Rob
  18. http://vimeo.com/57817375   (password: baller)   ...I put the password on it so that the seriously, seriously boring footage wouldn't be cluttering up my vimeo.  It's just that I was surprised that a stop this big worked at all with the Century Optics adapter.
  19. I have one question that has been creeping out since the announcement of the m4/s mount. Originaly I have planned to use my set of Samyang lenses (8, 24, 35) and Tokina 11-16, all EF mount as the main lenses for the BMC. Now with the announcment of m4/3 all world of lenses that I have used on GH2 opens up, including my absolute favorite LOMO OCT 18 mount russian lenses, however my dilemma is, if I opt to get m4/3 camera would I see any difference on my EF lenses (as opposed to going with the original mount for BMC) as well as how to change the aperture on my Tokina (as that would have to still
