  1. Hey guys, I have a SpeedBooster for the Pocket and the Micro for sale, Canon EF lens version. 4. In excellent, little used condition, complete with box, pouch etc. This is fitted with the high quality Leitax lens-mount adapter so it's good for a rock-solid fit to Canon EF mount cameras although this can be removed if you want to take it back to its original Contax/Yashica (C/Y) mount. £230GBP. I can add/supply some pictures if there's any interest....
  5. Quite a unique lens. From Frank Glencairn: "The 28-70 f:2.6 AF was Angenieux’s last consumer oriented zoom, that was targeted towards the pro market. The lens was just as good optically as any other pro zoom lens of the time either by Nikon or Canon. Unfortunately, its price was also on par with the best of the competition, which made it a tough sale. Later on when Angenieux pulled out of the SLR market, Tokina managed to get usage rights to the Angenieux design and produce the AT-X PRO AF 28-70mm f/2.6-2.8 lens." Great condition. I do not have the original box. $350
  6. We all know the cheap ones. Simple mount with a really bad optic. Is there no way at all to make or create an adapter for less than the canon telephoto original adapter at around $699 I just can't believe this is so. I mean a simple telephoto adapter with a secondary achromatic element behind it ought to work to clean up and telephoto the image enough for an FD to EF adapter. Is it just that difficult to get decent glass for a good price? Overview I am attempting to create and research an FD to EF adapter that does not have horribly unusable chromatic aberration. Testing including
  7. Is there any loss in quality using a ZF lens on a Canon body via an adapter? Would having a mount professionally switched using a company like Duclos in the U.S or TLS in the UK, be any better? Alex
  8. Don't know if you guys read this about a new adapter from Metabones:   http://www.metabones.com/info/105-info/180-metabones-introduces-third-generation-smart-adapter

  10. I'm looking into purchasing a set of lomo primes in oct-18 mount. I noticed that to directly mount the lens to a canon camera you have to buy either a oct-18 to oct-19 adaptor, and then an oct-19 to EF. They also make oct-18 to pl, and then pl to EF. Anyways, with either of these adaptor setups, I noticed that the oct-18 versions of the lomo anamorphic primes rear lens barrel rotates when focusing. Does anyone have any insight or experience using or converting oct-18 lomo anamorphic primes to any kind of canon EF setup???? And if so how does the focus work, or ways around it??? Any help
  11. I have one question that has been creeping out since the announcement of the m4/s mount. Originaly I have planned to use my set of Samyang lenses (8, 24, 35) and Tokina 11-16, all EF mount as the main lenses for the BMC. Now with the announcment of m4/3 all world of lenses that I have used on GH2 opens up, including my absolute favorite LOMO OCT 18 mount russian lenses, however my dilemma is, if I opt to get m4/3 camera would I see any difference on my EF lenses (as opposed to going with the original mount for BMC) as well as how to change the aperture on my Tokina (as that would have to still
