As someone who has been working his bollocks off creating an intricate workaround to get remote focus over bluetooth working for the 6K this doesn't please me at all !

If anything i've seen the 6k used at crazy low prices, even CVP have had a few between £1600-1800. 

I hope Sony announces the full frame little brother to the FX9, or Blackmagic announces a camera with a Full Frame sensor.

BMCC 2.5K and original pockets image quality made my jaw drop. GH2 was the mysterious affordable super cam I never came to own. GF1 for being the most beautiful camera body in poor mans digital leica land. GH5 making awesome image quality a super common thing. And most definately Davinci Resolve. Exuse my diction, it´s late over here and time to go to sleep.

Easy,  I'm choosing the original BMD Cinema Camera 2.5K
Was groundbreaking for its price and quality. First camera with raw for anywhere near that price point. And was the entry of BMD into the camera market, who are now major player, which makes the BMCC 2.5K especially notable.

Yeeaahh, based on REDs previous claims on their forums, I would take everything as marketing bullshit and just wait for independent tests. 

This project I was camera operator and gaffer. It was mostly lit with 2 Godox 60w LED's and a Pixel 220w LED's, we occasionally used a few other lights as well as natural light of course. Haven't run into any issues. Recording straight to an SSD. I don't have access to the footage but everything I've seen so far looks really nice. We have been lighting things pretty well though.

Hey Sage, might be a stupid question but how is your lut different from resolves color space transform plugin? I can see that you put enormous work and resource to this project and I pretty much love it, i'd just like to know if the final results are different or not  Thanks a lot, cheers!

ML Raw on the 5D3 works like any camera would. In fact, with the exposure and focus aids, it works better than most cameras. The only issue I have found is that playback is wonky. But liveview is in real time with the correct full frame image.

She's my fiancé! this was taken while on holiday  Lens was the Tok 28-70 2.6! 

Yeah, I was surprised it had dropped in price so quickly. 

Here is my P4K Film - Rec 709 LUT with built in natural highlight roll-off. 
I created it for myself for monitoring & fast colour correcting. Hopefully someone here might find it useful, if you do let me know what you think!

I've been using the Canon FD 50mm 1.2 L lens I had modified to EF mount a lot lately and I must say it is quickly becoming one of my favorite lenses. I'd be curious to know how this lens resolves on 4K cameras, if anybody has any insight.
On my 5D3, with ML Raw, it's slightly soft, some may say organic, but it has great separation... both color and subject. I find I like it with muted tones, though. I can really see why Canon used the optical designs from the FD lenses for their K-35 cinema glass.

Initially I created it to view in Rec709 with highlight rolloff but Ive found it useful for a base to start a grade.

The yellowish cello is with the Jordanwright lut, the reddish is the same fram with the standard p4k to extended video lut.
I can disclose that the real instrument is quite yellow, but I am not sure about the hand. No other grading done on these shots, straight out of camera.
