The AF looks pretty worthless on the Pocket I. It is slow and the AF point can’t be moved. So @cantsin was not 100% wrong.

Well yes and no. With that small sensor, a quick push of the button would usually get your subject in focus fairly fast. It was really helpful with Panny lenses that don’t have the hard stops.

Its sensor is larger at 19mmx10mm than even the BMCC 2.5 at ~16mmx9mm

so in essence this Pocket 4K is the successor to both BMPCC and BMCC (with its 5" screen)

If you look at it from the side, it even has that weird slant the BMCC had. This is less a Pocket 2 than a BMCC Micro 4K. That's not a bad thing.

This is impressive.

I would love them to make a battery grip to this.

Specs are awesome.  Bout time these guys made a cam in a proper dslr Format. This kills the GH5 imo.

I might pick one of these up.

I’m playing Mozart’s Requiem for my GH5 as we speak.

I'm really curious to read this thread in october'18...

Exactly. But I think that it is out of discussion price shaking moment - and marvelous including of Resolve 15 studio for free. Blackmagic with huge step does democratizing cine art community - others simply have to follow.

Sure is worth giving it a go, isn't it?
