Only thing with the Z6 is you need an external recorder, which for me kills the appeal of a smaller camera.

Yeah honestly the camera matters so little with a production. A crew is what makes everything happen. That said RAW is definitely nice for whoever is editing it lol

Yeah you could always switch to 200 for a scene with more movement and go down to 100 for more static shots. 

Yeah I think you have a great very marketable idea, its just the execution. All the advice in here is amazing, I am taking notes haha. 

To add to what everyone is saying I agree, the video wasn't catching my eye quick enough. I just wasn't seeing the emotion or animal cuteness that I think is probably there.

Being someone who shoots that stuff all the time though it doesn't really excite me. The reason I'd want it is just to be able to look back on the day years later and see it. But yeah short wedding videos are much more fun to make and edit. Doing those full length 2 hour cuts is a nightmare. 

It was merely a comment on the way to common notion that a colored shadow isn't "real" or is in fact "wrong". When in fact, a grey or black shadow is more incorrect than a colored one. Orange/teal isn't an unnatural grade made up by computers, its how the world actually looks in certain hours of the day.

Seems like the S1 is a pretty darn good choice still, and I am sure the S1H will really take the cake. That said the Z6 will likely be my first full frame camera. The prices on it are just insanely low used. Like any other camera if you get decent exposure and nail white balance your stuff will look good.

The Internet provides a ton of solutions to many problems for many people. You can choose to focus on the bad part of it. YouTube is also a very useful tool. Entertainment is really meant to appease our more animalistic senses. We could all just be monks but where is the fun in that. Of course some amount of balance is the key. You can be very intelligent and still enjoy stupid comedy. What you enjoy laughing at isn't really a choice.

Ethan doesn't only pick on big channels. Ethan Bradberry's channel is nothing in comparison to H3H3. We are talking 35 thousand views compared to over a billion on H3H3, and that doesn't include there podcast and vlog channel. Ethan from H3H3 has said his videos are mostly entertainment and not meant to be malicious and that can be seen when he has people on his podcast. I'd say this is true for most people with the exception of a couple people like Jake Paul which he clearly strongly dislikes.

Its a fail your way to the top world on youtube. Do something stupid, people give it attention, and you get more views.

Regardless the world has always been a terrible place. We have more resources now to live in comfort and peace than ever before. That's only a good thing in my book. Its pretty easy to forget about the internet when you unplug and spend time with working class people. Most people are just working working working to get by like its always been.

This isn't someone who "barely interacts" in the main forums, but has zero interaction with other members in any other threads. His account purely exists to spam the For Sale Subforum. With all his links promoting hotdigital-international (& others) eBay accounts. (just done by an automated bot I'm sure)

Perhaps if he was posting really good deals then his spamming would be tolerable, but they're not. Every time you might click through to look at the auction you just think "meh", they're never even close to the best deal you could get on eBay. 

And the volume and which this bot account posts to the For Sale Subforum is so high that it spams the forum with unnecessary posts, diluting down the actually relevant For Sale posts made by forum contributors here.  

This little camera is really starting to look appealing now that they are regularly selling for under $500.

How about everyone on here getting off their Fucking ass and go outside instead of on the Web all day, and maybe do some Charity work instead of listening to Pink Floyd! Might be a novel idea. I don't think DOF matters that much. Set design and lighting are usually what makes a production look cheap, as well as acting and sound.

Sensor size obviously matters. 1.8 on full frame and 1.8 on M43 look different end of story.

I am not misinformed. I'll be the first to admit what I like is probably not very conventional.  I like wide shots, seeing everything, long depth of field, slow motion. I like to see whats going on. Shooting this way is expensive and difficult though and I rarely even do it myself. 

The choice to use shallow DOF or not, is an artistic decision. Its my artistic opinion that DOF is one of the least important things when it comes to making a film. I also think its overly used especially in many modern movies. Its great to have when you are dealing with shitty ass locations where no set design took place. I use it all the time often partially for that reason. If I had a beautiful set to show up things would be much different. 

There are a ton of highly paid professionals that make artistic choices that I think look shitty. Its just a difference of opinion and when it comes to art there really is no right or wrong. 

Though if he doesn't want to deal with RAW, the Nikon D800 can be had at that price.
