  1. I am selling this package: https://www.ebay.es/itm/292624231515?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649 - Anamorphic lens ISCO-OPTIC Cinemascope Ultra-Star (anamorphic 2x) - Wide angle converter 0.6x - Diopter 2x Canon 500D Achromatic 72mm - Diopter 1x B+W 72mm - Collar support - 15mm rod support - Step rings and 72mm filter adapter - Lens caps €750 This anamorphic lens works attached to any lens closer than 80mm (FF), 50mm (Super35/APS) or 40mm (m4/3). It is appropriate for small lenses with a front thread smaller than 67mm approx. or it will create vignetting. The adapter is placed in front of the base lens with or without the rod support (directly screwed with step rings). 72mm filters can be used in front of the anamorphic adapter in this setup, as well as other sizes if you have the step ring. For using the 0.6x wide angle converter a 72-58mm step down ring is necessary (not provided). More info about this lens: https://www.vid-atlantic.com/lensshop/isco-19x-anamorphic-lens All the package costed around €1500.
  2. Hello, I am currently in search of a 1.5x anamorphic lens of any kind. Ebay seems to be drier than the Mojave Desert. If anyone has lenses to offer or have suggestions on where to look/specific links, please share or contact me. I prefer an Isco or Kowa however I am open to all advice or offers. Thanks, C.B.
  3. Hi! I am selling my red Isco Ultrastar Plus 2.1 anamorphic projection lens with caps. In perfect condition. Stored very safely in a dry box. Known as one of the sharpest budget anamorphic adapters. Together with the Isco, I am also selling 2 Redstan clamps designed specifically for this adapter: rear clamp with 62mm thread (to attach the Ultrastar to your taking lens) and front clamp with 75mm filter thread. Redstan clamps are easily the best clamps for anamorphic adapters and these are solidly-built and fit snugly around the Ultrastar. Step-up rings are optional. With this combination, you are ready to shoot anamorphic! Selling it all for $499. Buyer pays for shipping. Please PM for more information or more pics. Cheers!
  4. Things are on ebay, but I can take them off and offer discounted prices. Paypal only, free shipping to paypal address. /WTB/ Isco widescreen 2000

Hey there, As the pretty clear title of this thread indicates, i am looking for an Isco wide screen 2000. I've been looking for one for ages, and am at the point of posting a "WTB topic" If you you do have one for sale, don't hesitate to let me know ! Cheers !
  6. Link to auction at bottom of post. If you want to tell me about how this is overpriced and blah blah blah save it and don't message me with your sad whiny comments. Sorry to roll in hot here but every time I let the anamorphic community know I'm selling a super rare expensive item I get bombarded by a bunch of little cry baby failures who can't afford to buy precision high end gear and so they post complaints about the pricing or the injustice of me selling amazing gear that they can't afford because they are smug little losers without money living in their parents basement obsessively refreshing message board pages just waiting to spew forth their venomous vitriol thinly masking their self hatred and depression regarding the pathetic state of their sad boring failure of a life. Save your stupid selfish thoughts for your Mommy cause she's the only one who cares to listen to Mommy's special angel. Ok now that that's over with....I'm selling the nicest damn iscorama 54 lens you'll ever see ever. 24hr auction. Act fast. Here are the details kiddos: You'll never ever see an iscorama 54 MC in this good of condition. It is flawless mint condition. I'm putting this up for 1 day only. Bidding starts at 6k. Some will tell me that that's too expensive. I'm of the opinion that it's worth at least 7500$ in this type of shape. How this lens is in practically brand new condition being somewhere in the order of 50 years old is perplexing. This should be in a museum. This auction is for one day. If it doesn't sell I might put it back on the shelf and keep it....not sure honestly what I'll do if it doesn't sell by tomorrow morning. I'm already regretting doing this but I need to raise 20k asap for a non gear related issue so I'm in lunatic liquidation mode. I can't stress this enough....this thing is a work of art. So beautiful. On top of that I have a ridiculously rare iscorama pre 36 cinegon version that is also in mint condition and paired with a custom "Richard Gale Optics" 58mm Arri PL mount taking lens specifically engineered for the iscorama cinegon. It's equally a work of art so if you are interested in that as well check out my auction page. Comes with a redstan clamp and follow Focus gear. Original box included as well. No Caps unfortunately but I assure you I'll find some other roughly fitting Caps to put on to protect the glass during shipping. Good luck and bring your checkbooks to the party. Lets do this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/182609506564
  7. Selling this on eBay and the auction ends soon. Incredibly rare Isco anamorphic lens with a 2x squeeze. The glass is phenomenal and I'm not sure what it was originally housed in but the original owner repurposed this and added a professional interna l Iris stage which I've never seen done on any other anamorphic adapter lenses. I'm told the original owner did all this in order to use it as an optical printer lens for making film prints and for occasional use in telecine machines. It was chosen because they needed outstanding sharpness and the highest end optical performance since they were using it to make prints of films and needed close to zero artifacting or generational degradation. Used as an anamorphic shooting lens and paired with a sharp spherical taking lens this thing is unparalleled. Never seen anything like it and I doubt you'll see another one out there for sale ever again. No clamps or Caps Included. Just one gorgeous hunk of glass in a gorgeous elegant housing https://www.ebay.com/itm/182591526146
  8. I have posted this on facebook as well. Here's all the info: There's a nice set of s35 primes I found to go with my iscorama, and I need some extra cash to fund it, so I'm about to make a heart-tearing decision to sell my super nice anamorphic setup. This is single focus. Isco s8 2x, Distagon, Rangefinder, clamps and a rail mount. Anamorphic lens – Isco s8, clean glass, no makrs/scratches/fungus, comes in original ISCORAMA SET box. Modded to infinity (I made a tutorial about how to do it here https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=dmMiuMFQSuU ) Barrel of the lens is scratched where all the clamps attach, you can only see it when clamps are off. Taking lens – CY Contax Zeiss Distagon 28 2.8, with green aperture mark (german-made) in like-new condition. Glass is clean, not a mark on it. Distagon has an adapter for micro 4/3, but it's wobbly and I would suggest getting a more expensive one if you will not use rail support. On the front is SLRmagic rangefinder, no witness marks. I bough it from HonKong before they were available in stores, paid $500 to be one of the first people to use it. One cool thing about it is that the 77mm back can be detached, and it reveals the 82 mm threads, which is what more expensive versions have. Not sure if it's standard for all of them or if it's some sort of a pre-production batch. So you can put it closer to the front of the anamorphic adapter, and save a couple of precious millimeters to avoid vignetting. I've never experienced any image softening with this one. Images have virtually same sharpness with the adapter on/off, only slight color change due to blue coating. Two custom made clamps with bunch of spare thumb screws – these were made specifically for the isco, so they fit it really nice. They are made of aluminum, so are lightweight, but have much thicker bodies then anything you can find on the market, including redstan stuff (tho they are not anodized and don't look as good). Clamps are real heavy-duty, I used this setup with follow focus and there's no way these would ever move/loose grip/mess up your alignment. Isco has a black original clamp/ring mounted to the rail support bracket, it provides great support, and feels very solid. I never had any issues with this setup, and always used it on rails with follow focus. Camera in the images is not included. Video shot with this setup – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Fei_iTi_oQ&t=1s Flares and portraits – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0H0LG7vxpM Portrait and bokeh, early test – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNSYqH589kc Focusing test – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2pgHOeF2Jk I am looking to get offers, lens will ship from Ukraine via DHL or FedEx, buyer pays for shipping. Strictly paypal, shipping to paypal address only.

    ISCO-Gottingen Animex S/8 2x?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ISCO-Gottingen-Animex-S-8-2x-Anamorphic-Lens-/321094089165?pt=AU_Lenses&hash=item4ac2b2f9cd Anyone have any idea what this lens is...
  11. I've just bought a mint condition iscorama 54 and therefore I'm thinking of selling my old Iscorama 54 MC lens since I likely don't need 2. The lens I'm considering selling is in excellent condition. It's a real beauty but somehow I was lucky enough to find a sparkling mint condition 54. I got lucky. You know this lens...it's hard as hell to find and it's even harder to find in top form. I haven't put up an eBay auction yet. I'm probably going to list the opening bid at $6000.00 (comes with redstan Clamp and form fitted follow focus gear). Yes, that's a lot of money. Yes, that's what I paid for it last year. Yes, it's totally worth it. It's a god damn gem of anamorphic perfection. All the other dual focus projector lenses are little kiddie toys in comparison. If you have a pre-36 and a 54 you simply don't need anything else (well, you need a baby Hypergonar and hardcore dna variable diopter as well but let's not muddy the waters). Who's interested? If you make me a legit serious offer I might be pursuaded to sell direct instead of on an eBay auction. Throwing it out to you guys first since this is where the real loonies like myself hang Let me know. I'll try to post pics soon but I'm not bullshitting you It's a great specimen and if you've been looking for years...you've found it finally
  12. http://www.ebay.com/itm/182433356155?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 This is my first iscorama pre-36 lens and the one that got it all started. There's a very thin scratch on the rear element. It's in the photographs. Honestly it captures gorgeous imagery and I could give a crap about the defect but it's there and you should be aware. If the auction goes well I'll throw in some bonus accessories for no xtra cost but let's see if there are any Isco searchers out there. http://www.ebay.com/itm/182433356155?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  13. I recently came upon a miracle item. Still boxed and packaged in original packaging and likely never opened up since it was purchased originally in late 60s or early 70s. This Iscorama cinegon (the original iscorama anamorphic) . The dk came with a Beaulieu taking lens which screws onto the rear element. Not sure what applications are possible but are likely. Here's the eBay listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/182422480036?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 I have many more auctions....for the next week or so I'll be selling all sorts of gear and accessories. jay

    For sale: Iscorama 54

Hi my anamorphic friends... longtime reader here, first time poster though...   With a bleeding heart, I have decided to sell my pristine and immaculate Iscorama Anamorphot 1,5 x - 54. As longtime readers here I don´t need to tell you that this baby is really the mother of dragons... errr... of Iscoramas. I belive it´s single coated... I´ll put up some photos tomorrow so you can check it out. It comes with three different adapterrings, two lenscaps and a fitting leather case.   Why am I selling it? Just because I need the money for the very interesting cameras that are launching soon or have just been launched. And because I still have my nice little Iscorama Cinegon 1,8/10 that´s working wonderfully on my GH2.... so the Iscorama 54 has to go.   Asking price is 2000 Euros or better... let the bidding war begin. I´m not using ebay, because I frigging hate them and paypal, too. (But will have to re-consider if no suitable offer turns up here...) But for now I will offer this beauty to the eoshd commmunity.   As I said, I´ll put up some photos tomorrow, but I can also send them to you by mail. I honestly would prefer a buyer from Germany and preferably someone living close by... I´m a little hesitant to send this fine lens through the mail... but will do it, of course, if necessary.   OK... offers please to this email adress:   [email protected]   Cheers Ralf (Erjot)

  17. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xh_IGpE-JGA&list=UUBWpVAaEn9CvmidPcK_mFHw After work yesterday, drove past the Auckland Domain. Weather was too good to pass up the opportunity to shoot something. Although it got cold really fast again. Can't believe its supposed to be summer. Slowly getting used to the dual focusing. I found myself rushing a little bit in this kind of situation because I wanted to get shots while the sun was still up.

    Isco Anamorphic Ultra Star HELP!

I recently purchased an Isco Ultra Star Anamorphic lens. To my dismay, the focusing ring seems to be locked, and can't rotate forwards or backwards.I don't want to start messing with screws; I'm afraid I'll misalign the elements by doing so. Is there a specific set of screws I should undo? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
  19. I don't know if this has been posted before, but here's Mauri Galiano's very nice test which compares the GH4's various aspect ratios in 4k "Photo" mode using a Bolex 16/32 1.5x, an Isco 1.7x and a 2x Proskar. This sealed my decision to finally pull the trigger on a GH4. The only limitation I see right now is it's only in 30p and 25p. Apparently someone within Panasonic is pushing hard for 24p. Otherwise the GH4 (except low light) is an embarrsment of riches. eris
  20. Hi, I would be hugely greatful if someone can offer me some advice on this lens and the problem i have with it. I have just recieved a Isco - Gottingen lens and the focus ring seems to be locked at 16m. I'm unable to focus and was hoping someone was able to inform me the correct way to be able to fix this, or inform me as to which sew to undo. Many thanks for you time :)

  22. Hi guys, We just shot this video with the BMCC, Metabones Speedbooster, Nikon Lenses and Iscorama 54MC. RAW files were developped in After Effects CS6 (with Camera Raw) to Prores444 2400/1350. Color grading was done in AE. Please let us know what you think, we'd love to get some feedback. Cheers, Mihnea
  23. Hi guys, I'm a bit of an anamorphic noob. I bought an Isco-Gottingen Animex S8/2x. It's supposed to be the same as a rebranded Iscomorphot 8/2x according to this: http://www.eoshd.com/comments/topic/2331-isco-gottingen-animex-s8-2x/ I bought it for 140 euros in perfect condition so I thought I was getting a great deal. I noticed straight that the image was very sharp. I just couldn't really get great anamorphic flares out of it. A least not as in this video: http://vimeo.com/60401188 Here are some test with the helios 58mm holding the Isco in front of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvTMM_m2_Gk&feature=youtu.be (little bit of an anamorphic flare) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5voYH6GNYDY&feature=youtu.be (using my phone as a flashlight, no anamorphic flares) Is there a way to make the flares more pronounced or could it be that the lens it MC?
  24. I love anamorphic.  When I compose shots in my head, invariably, an anamorphic lens is required to capture what I see.  Therefore, when I purchased my BMCC recently, I ran out and grabbed the first piece of glass I could get my hands on: an Isco-Gottingen Cinelux 2x anamorphic.  It was beat up and cheap on eBay, but the image quality is surprisingly nice.  My first test can be viewed here for anyone interested:   vimeo.com/72993815   But the thing is just a monster to deal with--one of the later generation Isco projection lenses that weighs twice as much as the camera.  Focusing is a mystery at best.  And I need a good 2m plus minimal focusing distance. The front of the lens is giant, so I can't fathom getting a diopter on there at all.  It shoots a nice image, but it's way limited   So the search goes on... I'm not to the point where I can afford an Iscorama 36 even if I were to cross paths with such a rare creature, so I'm really looking for feedback on that mid-tier, under 1k anamorphic that is functional, lightweight and sharp across a wide f/stop range.     I've come across the Iscomorphot 16 a couple of times, which although still a projection lens, appears smaller and more manageable.  Does anyone have any experience with this lens that can tell me if it's significantly more manageable than what I already own. Closer focusing, etc--better option for diopters.   Also, Sankors keep popping up in my search, mostly Cs and Fs.  Without Isco's patented technology, they can't rack focus, so are they really worth double the Isco projection lenses?  Likewise the Kowa Prominars--without a rack focus option, are they worth it??  $1200, seriously??   Or Henri Chretien Hypergonar 16 lens.  Never heard of them before, but I've seen two on eBay recently.  Worth pursuing?   Any and all help/advice welcome and appreciated!
  25. I have a newly serviced and tested, super sharp CinemaScope for sale. It has a deeper Rose Gold colour than the one illustrated.   The ISCO Ultra Star CinemaScope Anamorphic Anamorphot with 15mm rod rail support included. Focus range is 1.5m to Infinity at all F-stops with a normal focussing helicoid as standard.   You can purchase from me direct from the link in the footer or via my ebay listing.    You can purchase with confidence as I am an active member of this great forum and I am Paypal or Credit Card friendly and include a 14 day return with buyer paying shipping.   http://www.ebay.com/itm/130969131159?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
