wolf33d
Hi ! I wanted to share with you my video done with a GH3, a D5200, a Dji Phantom 2 drone and a GoPro 3. I hope you dream and travel with me trough these images
HurtinMinorKey
Totally legit, good job. Some of the shots of the Golden Gate were amazing. Also, the arial shots were sick. I can't believe how stable and great the footage looks on those quad copter rigs.
maxotics
Very nice! Would it have been too difficult to correct the lens distortion in the copter shots? Just curious.
Guest Ebrahim Saadawi
Great job. Only wish it was longer! Well done
wolf33d
Hi, thanks a lot. I corrected the distortion, but more would affect the image quality. Also, the youtube compression is awful. The video result on my computer is insanely better, even the compressed output from Premiere Pro. But then after the upload it looks bad. Any suggestion ? Lucian
Outputting to pro res (mac) or extremely high bitrate x264 before uploading to youtube/vimeo helps. Unfortunately though they will always re-compress. I Hi, thanks a lot. I corrected the distortion, but more would affect the image quality. Also, the youtube compression is awful. Fly-Catchers
Great footage all round. I always love time lapse. Is your Phantom still flying after the crash/power loss? Sorry to hear that- I am always rather nervous when I fly mine! bill
Quirky
Hi, thanks a lot. I corrected the distortion, but more would affect the image quality. Also, the youtube compression is awful. The video result on my computer is insanely better, even the compressed output from Premiere Pro. But then after the upload it looks bad. Any suggestion ? Try optimising the video clip before uploading to YouTube, and make sure you've got all the possible Google-style "auto-annoying" checkboxes unchecked. The less Google/YouTube can mess with your clip the better. I believe I was able to get a slightly better result after I started exporting and compressing the clip made for YouTube myself in Apple Compressor (I believe Adobe may have something similar) before uploading it. In other words, I left YouTube as little excuse as possible to touch my clip.
