You're right. I will test 4K for moiré. But for my work (short fiction) I don't need and I don't want 4K. Too much resolution and big file size.

I totally understand. Even if it was just two lemons a thing like this just puts a strain on the trust in the camera. For casual use I can live with quirkiness but for work I need to know the gear is 100% at all times. This is why I didn't keep my a6300 or bought the a6500. I got three lemon a6300 from separate batches.. the trust is gone.

Ebay has a great return policy so I just make sure it works well.

I am a bit crazy though. I bought a camera that was labeled as broken. I asked the seller what was wrong with it. He said he wasn't sure but it seems to work fine, turns on and all. I bought it and its been working good for two years now lol.

Really don't think it's a superb video, but with 2 hours for 2 apartments, including drone shot, thats the best way i find.
And this is my first "real state" and i think is the easiest money you can make in the video world.

You can start immediately but the camera gets hot in 4K50 mode, I had heat warning at 25 mins when I last checked it. I think it's advisable to wait.

    ser from Saturday's wedding.
The predominant camera is the X-T3 on the gimbal.
There's also quite a few shots in there from the Pocket 4K, a couple of from our trusty C200 (taking a back seat to the other cameras) and one from the 5D mkIV.
Impressions of the two cameras after two weddings:
    1. The X-T3 is the perfect camera for the Zhiyun Crane 2. It is perfectly balanced even before turning the gimbal on. This wedding I used it entirely with my new 18-55mm at the wide end as I wanted the IS. The
    2. The Blackmagic Pocket 4K is something else. Utterly magnificent. With the Voigtlander 25mm constantly on this camera it produces an image that is unmatched by any of the other cameras I own. You just need to be in a position that allows you time to compose and focus. Thankfully the Voigtlander is great for quick manual focusing. The menu system is intuitive and easy and the touch screen makes changing settings a dream. The one chief drawback is that the battery life is awful. You shouldn't expect more than 40 minutes on constantly shooting. So I have about 15 LP-E6 batteries handy just in case.
They both compliment the other very well and I will be keeping both for my uses.

    I decided for GH5S because
    - it is tested and retested for video
    - I can buy new and it is 2017-2018 product
    - I can find LUTs and lot of info ( I bought Leeming LUTs fot the moment)
    - large video settings possibility for  a mixed video/still camera

There are, but then you need to double focus. Firstly, your taking lens, then the anamorphic lens. It's quite a pain in the long run.

Their next FVD batch is due by the end of November. Not sure about their fb page, but their own website works good.

Indeed looks like A7iii is better in low light but from comparisons (with light lol) , skin color and sharpness looks better on the EOS R. I dont own any of those cameras, just based on clips from these guys:

Resolve has different needs than premiere, photoshop, and lightroom, so a computer that does well for those programs might not be optimized for tackling resolve. Likewise, a simple gaming computer might not be best for editing 4K.
You are going to want SSDs as pointed out above.
Resolve benefits well from good graphics cards. I might go on to the black magic resolve forum and find out what is recommended.

How about diversifying this post to Best Editing Pcs at various price points:
    1. $1000
    2. $2000
    3. $3000
    4. $5000
    5. $10000

Anyone wanting to spend more than $10k on an editing PC should probably just use services of companies like Prime Focus or some high end post processing and management agency.

Great! XT3 is indeed tempting! Been thinking between a Fuji and an A7III as a hybrid cam to pair with a GH5s. Really liking the colors and af from the Xt3 as far as the ones I see on reviews
