Some shots i have made in rush( i was with my son and you must allways look him and not the cam)
standard profil with light correction in post. 1 shot i slowed down from 25p so is stuttering

Brandon Li is a famous travel film-maker who has made a number of viral travel films, with all of the special effects we associate with the genre.
His latest project went beyond that and included actors, a storyline, dramatic tension, as well as being a travel film.
Tom Antos interviewed him for a BTS look, and he talks about process, equipment, logistics, editing, the balance of control vs improvisation (there wasn't a script), and other interesting things, as well as showing some BTS footage.  I think it's an interesting crossover between fully planned shoots and completely unplanned travel films.
Here is the final film, and the BTS interview:

Shot this mood piece to show a bit of Nikon's low-light capabilities in video. No use of noise reduction at all, so doing so should get you some super clean video with not a lot of trouble---IF your lenses are fast enough in certain circumstances.
Also, you can get an idea of how well 420/8bit video grades--I did some fairly extreme things to get the looks I wanted.

Next firmware update will unlock it automatically; in the meantime they posted a method to unlock ProRes manually. Unlike the internal H.265, which is 10 bit 4:2:0, internal ProRes on the E2 has 4:2:2 subsampling.

Quite litteraly, the last hours of 2018 I did -another- present to myself and bought the 2 Pro.
Honestly, the Air should have been sufficient, and the Zoom seems like a better overall proposition (Air+Fly more combo for 900€/Zoom 1250€/Pro 1500€), but I must have the "pro", don't I?!
First of all, the box was sealed and everything seemed ok, but I noticed - quite easily - some minor scratches(?!) on the body. The weather is terrible here, so I won't be able to test anytime soon.
Are there any specific settings and/or tips and tricks that I have to know?
    Happy new year to all!

Got my DJI Ronin S a few weeks ago and while digging through the app realized that I could program tilt and pan moves and repeat them. I paired the Ronin S with a motorized slider creating a small motion control system. This allowed for some interesting VFX in a music video I just shot. I was able to created several versions of the singer interacting with himself while the camera moved around following the action. Check it out:

You can start immediately but the camera gets hot in 4K50 mode, I had heat warning at 25 mins when I last checked it. I think it's advisable to wait.

Thought I'd share my experience using the XT3 to film a wedding this past weekend.

Lots of continuous shooting, though the camera did get warm, there was no overheating. I experienced no lock ups or errors of that nature.

An issue I ran into was low light auto focus. There wasn't a ton of light at the reception venue. The room was mainly lit by small lights on the walls, and some overhead chandeliers. Neither light fixtures were very bright and the chandeliers were dimmed once the dancing started. Before the lights were dimmed the camera struggled to maintain focus at F4 without hunting quite frequently. At f2 it was fine which indicates it simply reached its limit as far as needed a certain amount of exposure. Once the lights were dimmed even at f2 it was hunting sometimes. I didn't crank the ISO beyond 6400. Maybe 12,800 would have been enough to get better exposure for auto focus.

Basically this auto focus system isn't magic. It still enables me in decent lighting to get in focus shots of moving objects that I wouldn't be able to obtain by myself, especially not with longer lenses and a shallow DOF.

I found the OIS on the 50-230mm lens to be great for non moving shots. I used it with a monopod(didn't get a stand for mine so its pretty unstable) and it worked great. I got to test tracking for people processing up the aisle and it was spot on.

The 18-55 has great OIS as well. Easily can get handheld shots through all focal lengths that look great.

My only wish for Fuji is that they'd give their primes OIS. Especially the 50mm f2.   If they just did a 50mm f2 with OIS I'd be a content man.

    average i think is 1500 €
this are my 2 favorites from this season:
the are all very documentary style, because i make a complet wedding film with about 60 min
