ow ok, I kinda dig those blurry corners ^^. which one is it exactly? I only own the metabones MFT - EF XL 0.64. Then again I probably wont buy a eos m, waiting on the 5D IV.

It's not a real speedbooster but some chinese crap, the first copy that came out that had bad coatings and gives a blue point in the center when shooting against the sun. The only way to have a good speedbooster on the eos m is to modify a e mount speedbooster and combine it with a ef-efm adapter, this will give you full ef compatibility. They made some of those hacks in Korea, not shure if they still do it.

  2. I'm bored of those seascapes, I want to see some New York City footage.

I prefer the zeiss because I don't really like nervous bokeh, but let's continue this review with NYC footage, I want to see some glorious out of focus lights on the zeiss, I love it when they are dense dot and not some fuzzy crap, and I think that's where the zeiss really will show off.

Good point on the light bokeh, that makes perfect sense

Those other shots look absolutely awesome!

Were these all on one camera body or what were you shooting on?

Thanks :) The nikkor Shot was taken with a d800 and the pentax Shots were taken with a phase one p45+

Just a quick update, as I've just come back from 3 days of winter camping in the mountains, and I want to share my short experience concerning battery life.
So, during 3 days with just below 0°C temperatures, I shot mainly short video sequences (around 30s) from dawn to dusk, milky way photography one night, some landscape photo in the morning and in the evening, and a lot of image reviewing. The camera stayed outside with the battery still inside it (I usually remove the battery from the camera in winter, and take it inside my sleeping bag, but not this time).

Right now, I'm reviewing all the material, and the battery indicator displays  3 remaining bars out of 5. I'm quite satisfied... with my Fujis, I would have used 3 batteries ! As usual, there is quite a gap between internets myths and real life experience !

And you didn't loose all your pictures because of the Single Card Slot

I have both... somehow managed to get three or four copies of the 24mm f2 and two 28mm f2s. But sold all but one of each. ?

The 28mm is probably better. I think most people would prefer it, at least. I prefer the FOV, too. The 28mm has much higher contrast wide open, while the 24mm has a LOT of spherical aberration wide open. By f2.8 it's pretty similar. The 24mm is similar to the 35mm f1.4 wide open, where it has good resolution but a lot of spherical aberration and coma. Sort of a soft focus effect with little blips around light sources at the edges. The Super Speeds also have this effect wide open, but a lot more coma and a lot less spherical aberration. I far prefer those.

I believe the 24mm f2 also has a bit more "nisen bokeh," like an S2 or S3 but not nearly as much or as nice. And it's about as soft as the 24mm f1.4 Rokinon, except the Nikon has character that I like and I much much prefer it, and it's much softer than the 24mm f1.4 Canon. For a "vintage" look it's nice, because it's not so messed up that it looks bad or is out of control or has gross flares like the Red Pro Primes, but it still has some character. The 28mm is already under control at f2, though. Both the 24mm and 28mm Nikkors are far far outperformed technically by the 18-35mm f1.8 Sigma, which is a fantastic lens if you want a modern look. There's something really amazing about it.

    Thanks, I really have to get the 24 2 ,28 2 ,35 1.4 and 105 1.8 some time

    Don't Name the super Speed please, :(:( I Wish I had the 25 1.2

Hi yes I tried it and it works fine. although liveview is a bit crazy with the screen heavily stretched vertically. When corrected in post, the image comes out at an aspect ratio of 4.6:1 which isn't very useable. You can crop the sides off down to 2.35:1 ratio but then you loose quite a bit of resolution. I'll test it further though.

There's someone who stuck an anti-aliasing filter into their EF to EF-M adapter using sellotape, sounds like an interesting solution! I might try that one day!

Thanks :) maybe they get a Full Mode, who knows.

    Meanwhile at DPReview:

    DPR forum X-T3.jpg

    So much for free speech!

And their feedback section has plenty of concerns about the amount of sponsored content they have been running lately

Which I criticised... Hence the ban on my links.

Are we living in China or the west?

When I was a teenager and naiv, dpreview was like a institution in my mind, something like the royal academy of cameras, their tests were absolute truth to me. Since they kicked you away because of not sucking PR dicks they totally lost my respect.

I should have doubted them from the first day, guys that can't take pictures (sample gallery) can't be trusted with cameras.
