John Palmer
that 17mm may be too wide. Ive got a Canon FD 50mm f1.4 that works well with my anamorphic lens. I dont know much about the LA7200 though but I have always thought you shouldn't use anything wider than a 35mm for the taking lens
John Palmer
Do you have a metabones speedbooster or one of those others brands sold on ebay? Ive been trying to figure out if those cheaper ones are worth buying

Rudolf
I used the Tokina 17mm fd with LA7200 and GH2. I think that was ok (if I remember right) But with Speedbooster... maybe not a good idea: Will vignette and you have to stop down anyway (at least 5.6) or image is very soft. Otherwise FDs are very good with anamorphics.
Martinn
Canon 5D with 50/1.4 may be ok.
