Really it is only the full-frame cinema cameras that can do raw from a full-frame sensor. So: Alexa 65, Red Monstro, Canon C700, Sony Venice... And most of those need added modules or recorders. So, the cheapest full-frame camera that can shoot raw as of now is more than $35,000.
The Nikon Z6 having raw has been announced but not yet released. The S1H will probably have some sort of raw, but not known for sure. Then Kinefinity and Z-Cam have full-frame cameras coming out that can do raw.
The full-frame and Super35 raw output landscape will look a lot different in 6-12 months than it does right now, that's for sure.

The image is softer for sure. Just depends how much you'll notice or care.

I opted to buy Nikon lenses as I knew I could get a Lens Turbo speedbooster for them for cheap, which are pretty comparable to metabones. But yeah if you don't have a fluid head tripod that would definitely be a place to start.

I'd highly recommend a used 18-55mm Fuji lens. The OIS is amazing.

Sincerely not. Very interesting angle viewing design. This camera is terrific, its design no less : )
I find people focus funny, not exactly your case once I've already checked your skilled framing abilities, but most part of people not necessarily here but everywhere stinks on theirs but complain about tilt screens... LOL C'mon : -)

I think the money spent on a Metabones would be better spent on a Gimbal, or a Microphone, a lighting package, ND filters, even a damn good used tripod and fluid head unless you have lots of money. With no IBIS in a XT-3 you are not going to do a lot like say a GH5 can. You are going to be pretty limited without a lot of the above items.
Video is not cheap to do, and do it well. All the other things add up. Not saying you have to spend thousands, well you do, but in the beginning you can just add a few things at a time. A Metabones would be WAY down my list. More of a luxury item than a need. By the time you buy a XT-3 and add a Metabones you could have just bought a FF camera to start with now in this day and age. Seems silly to me. There are Millions and Millions of good used FF lenses out there. Not so many APSC Fuji ones, even other's that are real standouts. APSC is sort of the Red headed Stepchild of the industry. Only Fuji seems hell bent on it now.
But with the Metabones you can use FF lenses, so that is the conundrum. Ah to have a ton of money.

Yeah the GH5S really can't match the image quality the Pocket offers. But if you wants something light and or don't want to do much processing in post, at still get a super clean image, the GH5S is superior.
Battery life is really the big killer on the Pocket in regards to run and gun stuff. You really need some time of at least semi bulky external battery, unless you don't mind changing them every 30 minutes.

Panny needs to add a reduced NR/sharpening mode as well as internal RAW!

I just look for the cheapest adapter usually, never had an issue. I use a USB-C with a power bank to avoid battery changing. For cards anything V30 works. The SandDisk extreme pro 95mbps or 170mbps work well.

    Thank you, thats very kind.
I had an XT20 and used to use it for that but the issue was, with it being APS-C, the additional bulk of the faster lenses started becoming a bit self defeating in terms of keeping it compact.
The appeal of switching to the A7Rii was having the option of using small M mount lenses (with AF on the TechArt adapter) as well as compact primes like this Samyang.
When you look at the overall form factor of an A7Rii with say a 7Artisans 35mm f2 versus trying to get that equivalence on the XT20 which would be the 23mm f1.4 then it actually becomes quite marginal.
Of course there is still the option in the A7Rii of switching to APS-C mode to use with the small Sigma primes as well so its a bit more versatile for me.
Plus the resolution bump it has over the XT20 and IBIS of course !
I have a soft spot for the GX80 but its a similar story in some ways with regard to when you add equivalent lenses, particularly when you get speed boosters involved.

    Those are some amazing shots.

Have you thought about maybe an XT30 or GX85 for travel? More compact than anything full frame.

The speedbooster is really more of a money saver for me as generally wider fast lenses are more expensive.

I could probably get away with doing 17mm, 50mm, and 100mm in regards to full frame. With more complicated lighting setups its sometimes nice to have a longer lens so you can get the shots you want without becoming a shadow on your subject. 17mm is also nice to get a wide shot in tight spaces.

Sigma lenses tend to be wonderfully perfect. I think color rendering also plays a role in how pleasing a lens is.

I do miss my 18-35 but now being able to get a full frame look with my XT3, vintage Nikons were simply way more affordable.

And it has happened like that : ) Who accepts bitching over here...?!

The point is when people take positive criticism as anything negative and start to biasedly counterattack... Pure nonsense. What for BTW?!
Truth should universally be at the ship's command column, this doesn't rule out a diversity of angles over the same subject in respect of fairness though.
B&W portraits can variably shine but only in 100% under required circumstances ; ) The idea 'who's not with me is against me' is proper of a totalitarian mindset, not suitable to any healthy discussion and progress. Nothing valid comes from facts distortion. From egos either. Let alone ad hominem attacks!

Perspective is always useful and welcome, I always want and tend to believe : -)
That said, to ignore or undervalue this capture device (my fav cam ever as so many times written) is absolutely unfair. As much as the most fanatic opposite side.

Despite the issues I am going to be getting the camera soon. The price/value ratio is just incredibly high no matter how you look at it. BM is now really the only one competing against RED with a compressed RAW format. The Pocket is of course cheaper than even the RED one and probably performs better.  I of course hope they solve these current issues but even if not its still a solid camera.
