I was hoping for this. Hopefully they drastically improved their stabilizer. Then it is finally goodbye for Premiere for me!

You can do a 48fps mode on 7D you don't need to stretch.

Someone on the ML forum is saying they now have 1080/48p and 50fps (I think) working fine, not sure about 60p yet.

Yeah but she still has the best skin tone and still pretty hot. You kinda wish you could hook up with her again (even just once) if it wasn't for all her issues and the fact that she's a gold digger. 

I don't wanna sound like i'm moaning... but is there a reason the HFR modes aren't being tested, is it not implemented yet?

I think you should shoot in 10bit as you will not run into as much banding + you have more grading options.

Haha thanks, well cause I needed to save up money for a ursa mini pro (so I sold all my camera's). But now this makes me reconsider, maybe ill buy a 5d iii again prices will probaly drop soon with the log release of the 5d iv

Well since I am nearly 70, a week away, but hell who is counting! ,  I grew up with film, made my living a lot with film , even Video, Sony Beta SP video, was sort of like film using tape, I have it, that look embedded in my soul, my mind. I grew up when there was Only B&W TV's, I Love B&W movies from the 40's 50's. So I am biased as hell, no doubt.
I am looking for that look, sure am not going to go back to film, but I like that smooth, buttery look a film can have shot on film. Nothing like it.
But I am a dying breed. film today is reserved few a few highly respected producers, directors, and they too are a dying breed. Digital is here to stay, but like Pink Floyd, Stones, ACDC, Led Zeppelin, it ain't dead yet.  And I still like to pursue it if I can.
But there is a whole new generation that can take advantage of all the wonderful Digital stuff, for really some cheap prices, and make it how They want to see it look. And that is a good thing for them to pursue also. Because by the time they get my age, it will be a , "damn this new stuff sucks ass compared to what I grew up on" thing.
Nostalgia is a wonderful thing. Even if it was right or wrong, it brings a smile to your face. A happy time indeed. It is a reward for a long life's journey.

What about the large portion of video shooters that never use AF? Seems like more of a hobbyist hangup than something that'd hold back a working pro. 

You cannot claim a camera that shoots clean ISO 3200 at F0.7 is 'not that great in low light'

F1.2 on the Speed Booster XL = F0.768
Sensor dynamic range in the RAW files is around 13 stops, so same as the 1D X Mark II full frame 20MP sensor.
So not sure why you think DR is less due to the sensor size.
It's only a bridge too far if it kills low light and dynamic range. It hasn't.

300mm F2.8 hardly a must-have lens for filmmaking.
Bird watching and plane spotting maybe.
The GH5 actually excels at telephoto because you can easily attain the equivalent of 800mm on full frame.

I do miss the old body size and ergonomics haven't exactly progressed much but it's still a small camera and the extra features have to go somewhere.

At the risk of sounding like a total dick here and I of all people have no right to, but I just don't get some people on this forum. I know most things are subjective, but that Kholi footage is probably the nicest GH5 footage I have seen and people complain about it?!

Early thoughts: Reminds me of the A7SII, honestly. Not that far off, nearly same color and aesthetic, less rolling shutter of course. Pana may beat out the A7SII for base color, though.
Tell your favorite LUT builder to jump on building some, not a huge fan of what comes out of the camera stock. Alexa to Rec709 doesn't look bad as a starting point, still needs a fair amount of massaging IMO.
Don't have much time with it, going to mess with CineV and acquire some more V-Log footage to tune the Comet Color port."
 
 

Solid ML support is really what would sway me to even remotely consider a MK IV.
As is I've got a MKIII with ML and a 1DC, so a MK IV with ML seems like a good camera trifecta for my needs.
