Tried the X-T3 at photokina. 

Not impressed.
Recorded some footage on my SD card in the new 400mbps intraframe codec. Turned noise reduction, sharpening as well as inter frame noise reduction completely off.
In both Astia and F-log faces and even textiles look like a paintbrush was applied. Faces look horrible and lifeless and waxy as well.

Both my GH5 and A7III looked way better and more natural in comparison...
Well, will wait for the BM Pocket 4K then.

Dennis, you know it may become pretty misleading without proper testing and time for checking the best from your settings out. Balcony tests are rubbish : ) Thanks anyway to hear especially from you (E : -)

Shot in UHD Prores 422, with a mix of 23.98 and 60fps, slightly graded in DaVinci Resolve. ISO 400 to 3200. Lumix 12-35mm 2.8.
 
 

My camera arrived today. Just had a brief play around now after work and I love the ergonomics and all around feel of the camera in my hand! The 18-55 is just as lovely.
Pretty dark now in the evening, but AF was accurate at f4 and 6400 ISO and having LINEAR manual focus in the settings is a godsend!

Will test a lot more this weekend when I have some time off, but so far I'm a happy camper

Main/Soft are low contrast color bases resembling film; it may indeed work well for a retro film aesthetic (as in 'Tilian - Cocky'). For non-standard use, people often use it in unexpected ways that will move away from true Alexa color. There's been a variety; grading before the conversion, using the conversion at a percent strength, using non-full spectrum NDs, using the Lumetri luma curve, shooting HLG/Cine-D over VLog (this is about to improve), grading LogC directly without a display Lut, placing black level very high (above 5 IRE), placing luma brightly (faces above 45 IRE anchor), ETTR into the rolloff, combining the LogC variation with Main/Soft
For Alexa luts, do you mean the Arri display luts for Rec709 etc? I'm going to do SBS comparisons with a variety of Lut options soon. Wild Ranger uses LogC film conversions with GHa occasionally, such as in Basta above

I really wish I had the time! I'll see what I can do. I had a quick play today, literally for all of ten minutes.....
- Sensor Calibration option in menu is greyed out. I'm used to doing a calibration at the beginning of each days shoot on the UMP but doesn't look like it's necessary on the Pocket4K 
- I really wish the screen articulated up slightly. Handholding the camera at chest height is most comfortable but it's not the ideal viewing angle for the screen. I would have payed a few hundred $$$ more for the screen to articulate up 30 degrees or so. Would make the camera so much more ergonomic.
- Camera feels great in the hand. Well balanced and a good size.
- hot air blows out from the bottom vent, not too much of an issue but my left wrist rests partially on the vent while pulling focus.
- I have the Speedbooster XL on it and there is absolutely no autofocus info going to or from the lens. I never use AF and didn't think it would be usable at all during a shot but even push AF not working at all with SB XL and Canon 24-105, Sigma 18-35 (Slight vignette at wide end) and Canon 50 1.8 or Canon 85 1.8. All other lens functions work well and iris response from cameras front scroll wheel very responsive.
-  Did a quick recording on a Sandisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s SDCard. 4K25p RAW 4:1 and camera recorded fine for 3-4 minutes before I stopped it. 
Had a quick look at the Fim, Extended and Video modes just looking at the rear LCD. The difference between Video and Extended video seems to be mainly in the highlights. Blacks look the same and nicely contrasty but the Extended mode holds the highlight better. 
So far so good. Really happy with the camera.

A candle is not a good low light test either because you are either at full saturation of the pixel (bright flame), or barely nothing (black background).

BRaw is amazing but the feature that flew under the radar is Gen 4 color science w/ Extended Video preview. It’s pretty much just like the Alexa and Amira whereas you can view a “modest” REC 709 version. Less saturation and contrast than the original BM to Rec 709 LUT.

BS clickbait. Of course there is no quality improvement on a basic image between normal and log. The point of log is not better quality, the point is being able to grade the way you want and not fall appart thanks to 10 bit. 
Ask the guy to take a difficult scene with sun, and do a heavy grade in both and we will see....
If you do not need to grade the footage there is no point in shooting log indeed.  

And here's the reason why BRAW looks so much better than CDNG...

That's some great news!

That's what I am hoping as well, that the sensor specific partial de-mosaic filtering tuning will make the Pocket 4k more like the USRA Minii Pro after it got the BRAW update.  With Pocket 4k it would be nice if they would do 2 tunings, one for each native ISO.   I am already really liking the look of the Pocket 4k at high ISOs in low light, but at lower ISOs with lighting or daylight,  I am hoping it can be further refined, like the USRA Mini Pro was after the BRAW update.
 

GoPro's have around 11 stop dynamic range in Protune Native Flat mode. Actually the dynamic range is very good for the sensor size

Stabilization on the GoPro 6 was already amazing, but this looks even better. Can't wait to try it out. With ProTune enabled and sharpening turned down the video quality on the GoPro6 was already quite decent with really nice color.
