In Italy i have paid 3250 € for the Kit S1+24-105 with 4 years warranty and 1 spare battery. Now with the free firmware i find is a good deal...

What part of $2500 for a full frame 10bit V-LOG shooting camera isn't a bargain? The $2000 or the $500? Oh and it is also a kick ass stills camera with best EVF on the market and Super 35mm 4K 60p like an X-T3, but still isn't a bargain?
An Alexa or RED doesn't have PDAF either! Manual focus for cinema is fine by me... My best lenses are MF. And when you need video AF, keep a cheap second body like an A6400 handy.
It is only the first year. Will get better in terms of native lenses. Until then, you can adapt only... everything.
Well, you will have to criticise everyone in that case because nobody is doing a $2500 full frame camera with global shutter, 4K 120p raw and built in ND... And if they did, it would be by RED and cost $50,000.

I do not understand the enthousiasm, a mini A7s in your pocket? That was a camera instantly surprassed by the A7sII by the way.
12megapixels tiny sensors with 2.4f (the 2 lenses).
Phones take very good casual pictures destined to be viewed on phones/tablets for years now.
Someone has to put an 1" sensor there, and instantly will surprass anyone in both megapixels and low light performance.
The mobile phone market is one of the largest in the planet with a huge increase in profit and consumers market share, for at least 3 decades now.
Amazing things will happen every year until the end of the century probably or the destruction of the human race. Whatever comes first.

The F-mount is interesting.  The B4 mount suggests a crop sensor mode (but there might also be magnification optics in their B4 mount).  Perhaps, in regards to S35, Blackmagic is starting to think a little outside of the EF/PL box.
 
However, from the photo it appears that the internal NDs are permanent and this is yet another S35 camera from Blackmagic with an interchangeable lens mount that will not accept lenses and adapters requiring shallow mounts.  So, there are countless nice, interesting lenses that cannot be used with this camera, nor will interchangeable FF-to-S35 focal reducers work with this camera and nor will special adapters (such as tilt/swing/shift, continuously variable ND, etc.) work.
 
If this camera has a crop sensor mode, it would be great if it could accept M4/3 and C-mount lenses.
 
On the other hand, @lucabutera's internal Magicbooster insert might work inside the camera's EF mount, even with the camera's internal NDs.

Imagine if you owned a house, and thus EVERY law that was broken by anybody in your house, you are then equally "guilty" of the crime as well.

I've not read the safe harbor law, but common sense says it would not give companies the right knowingly leave copyrighted content up on their site, and, even worse, try to make money off of it.  If it doesn't say that, then the people in the EU are on drugs.

FWIW, one of the favorite docs I shot was with a GM1 handheld.  There's a lot of things to worry about with making movies.  Sure, camera mass is one of them, but, to me, pretty inconsequential on the priority list.

Interesting.  Maybe they just haven't sold enough of them to end up in the hands of people who don't value them and use them?  They're a pretty niche item really, and they don't have the marketing of something like RED where every YouTuber secretly wants to vlog with one.

This is kind of a ridiculous statement. Not sure how you can make such a sweeping judgment not having shot on the camera.
re: S35 vs Full-Frame - one of the cool things about shooting on a full-frame camera like the Mavo LF is you can always bump down to S35 mode and shoot on a traditional frame size in 4k at any time. I did it the other day.
 

Weight is part of it, an Alexa weight a ton as do the lenses usually, most often it'll be on easy rig or steadicam vest or both. If not it's on a big tripod.

The example looks great, but it does look like a small camera still, it's the quick jitter at the start

I've tried using GH5 with Dual-IS2 and a Ronin S recently and it gets closer but it doesn't look like a heavy camera.

So perhaps just add a load of lead ?
Maybe a Ronin S in briefcase mode?

They both look like equally bad mobile phone footage. It's easy to make the better camera look like the worst one in the grade by crushing the blacks. 

I disagree.  Kinefinity released the Terra 4K for $4000+ and then Blackmagic turned around and released a BETTER camera (Pocket 4K) for $1295 with more features and better codecs/color science (Blackmagic RAW future update).  I wouldn't be surprised once the MAVO LF comes out that Blackmagic is already making a better camera with the same sensor for half the cost.  The new BRAW codec makes it possible for Blackmagic to now do higher resolutions such as 6K without the need for heavy storage.  The new sensor profiling they do siginificantly reduces Aliasing/Moire as well as Fixed Pattern noise so they can get a significant dynamic range increase over competitors using the same sensor.  Kinefinity cameras are too expensive for a small manufacturer, because at that price point you can now buy other well-established camera brands like RED, CANON, and even Blackmagic.
On top of that, Ursa Mini Pro is practically a more usable camera for professional production because it matches much closer to the industry standard Arri Alexa and has a very good color science.  
MAVO LF looks like a really good camera but they need to drop their price to around $8000 to be competitive with other mid-range priced cameras because Kinefinity is not a well-established brand yet.  I would be very worried if Blackmagic is also designing a camera with this sensor.  Since the Ursa Mini Pro used a custom-designed sensor t hat cost millions of dollars to develop, the camera was priced at $6000.  Since this Sony sensor would be "off the shelf," Blackmagic could easily price the camera at $4000 in an UMP body since they don't care about market segmentation. 

To clarify once again, the Metabones Speedbooster for Sony E-Mount was popular, used by many and recommended by several reviewers to be used on the Full frame A7x.
We are talking about niche stuff here. Most that uses an adapter and definitely speed boosters are a minority of camera nerds. You can't apply what the general public like to stuff like speed boosters. Because they don't buy it anyway. Metabones entire business idea is to cater to camera nerds like us that are willing to jump through all kinds of hoops.

I would imagine over 90% of the people that buy the camera will leave it on the default settings. I wrote about that in another thread. The average person doesn't know shit about CS and Luts, Raw, on and on. They just turn it on in auto mode and away they go, especially in Video mode. And 98% shoot JPEG so that is auto mode also. That is the Factory CS. And that is what they like or they would have bought another brand.
I would bet 99% of people Never change anything on an iPhone Photo, Video wise other than maybe from 4K to 1080p or vice versa. Turn it on and go. And on a iPhone, Apple has it down to a tee right out of the box for damn near perfect stuff right OOC.
Heck even I probably shoot 95% of the time in dummy mode on my iPhone. When I want to get the best I use Filmic Pro, but not very often to be honest. Stuff is damn good now right out of camera on most of them. They know what the clients want, and they deliver.

first is that we see results in front of a Monitor (many times it's cheap) ...
So the result is compromised by the monitor, as well as the display software (vlc is correct), a good video card, etc ...
To demonstrate this in the link, the colorist uses Eizo pro series ...
This is to say that the tests are useless because each of us has very different equipment and tastes not comparable with each other, but even the final result can be comparable starting from the same camera.
To tell the truth I do not find any camera with the wrong colors, different, but corrected in post, through a good monitor.
I shoot with Sony A7rII and I have a Lg31 and a BenQ 27 ...
