It's to small for my tastes, I prefer a 7 inch model. Unless feelworld releases their rumoured lut supporting monitor soon, I'm probably going to go with an Ikan dh7-v2(has Lut support), now that my wife is back to work after the birth of our son. 1 mirekti reacted to this

Got my fingers and toes crossed for Atomos releasing a Ninja V add on with combo SDI and timecode integrated! Would make it absolutely perfect for using with either a FS700 or FS5, as both lack TC built in otherwise 1 webrunner5 reacted to this
Raafi Rivero 142 Report post Posted November 24, 2018 2000 nits for 200 bucks. This was my one Black Friday purchase. Will update on Monday when it’s here. 1 IronFilm reacted to this
Raafi Rivero 142 Report post Posted November 26, 2018 The Feelworld 279s is significantly brighter than my onboard monitor, which is rated at 500 nits. It looks a little green out of the box but has user-configurable RGB sliders and a green-magenta slider so I'll have to tweak a little bit to get the colors spot on. 3 deezid, mirekti and webrunner5 reacted to this
majoraxis 135 Report post Posted November 26, 2018 Looks good - especially for $200. Apparently the non-SDI version (without the "s" end) FW279 sells for $259.99 regularly. This seems to be the best deal going if you don't need 3D LUTs... Thanks for sharing the photo! 1 Raafi Rivero reacted to this
Kisaha 1,588 Report post Posted November 26, 2018 Very interesting, but I seriously doubt is 2200nits as they claim. 2200 is too much, eyeballs burning - much.
majoraxis 135 Report post Posted December 1, 2018 MustHD also offers a 2200 nit 7" monitor. The price seems to be as low as the Feelworld if you purchase from Ebay. I picked the HDMI only version for $199 on Amazon. They can currently be found on ebay for less than $250 for the HDMI only version. Things that I like about the MustHD is it is supposed to support 4K 60. It has a lot of buttons on the front to select with. Its' case is metal, which is supposed to help dissipate the heat generated from the high brightness output. It seems like a good alternate if 4k 60 is part of your work flow. I plan to try it on my GH5 - hopefully they will play nicely with each other. If Feelworld had 3D LUT support it would have been my first choice, but neither of these monitor support 3D LUTs as far as I am aware.

It can even load calibration 3D LUT, then creative 3D LUT on top of it! 1 1 IronFilm and AlexTrinder96 reacted to this

I set the HDMI output to 1080p though, it's sharp enough for critical focus. 1 BrunoCH reacted to this

mirekti 26 Report post Posted December 21, 2018 I have just recieved 729S, and so far it looks promising. Also, I purchased BP-U60 plate and BP-30 battery instead of NP. No LUT support, but I will apply LUT to HDMI out in GH5S so not a big deal. Need a sunny day to fully test it. 1 Raafi Rivero reacted to this
