On my opinion indy cinematographers would prefer buy BMPCC6K with 35% less money  and have internal Braw , save the money by avoiding buy new lenses(L mount), would  save the money for external recorder (who wants to use that anyway?) and having lack only of Ibis and still shooting capability.

BM "destroyed" all potentional caesars with one move.

OK so here's the thing about add-on EVFs. They are all shit. They all need stupid wobbly cables, they all upset the centre of gravity and balance of a mirrorless camera, they all draw attention to you so people know you're shooting video in public and the Permit Krackens swoop, people get upset, etc. They all cost a lot of money and they all take big chunky 1990's style camcorder batteries or hook into an even bigger v-lock brick on your spidery stupid rig, and therefore they are horrible to use, horrible to pack away, horrible to assemble and slow to boot up. Then the battery dies, poof.
And all that just to see the fucking picture under sun.
I despise external recorders and external EVFs. None of the manufacturers have innovated. None of them have stepped out of their cinema bubble and come up with anything as elegant as a mirrorless camera's built in EVF.
FF vs S35 is not a comparison dependant on the codec. The aesthetic is different, the lenses are different, the lens circle is different. Discuss that, then we can discuss the codec separately because it is literally a separate topic!
EF lenses still rule, of course they do, so put one on L-mount with the Sigma adapter. Done.
Price chasm is not that big. In the UK for instance Pocket 6K is £2300 and S1H £3599.
But the Pocket 6K has no EVF so you need to add one for £1000
The Pocket 6K has no stabilisation so you need to add a cage and shoulder rig for £500.
Alas the Pocket 6K has a piddly little battery which the meter decides it has had enough off after 10 minutes with random shut downs, so add the v-lock for £300 minimum.
    Final price? £4100.
Don't get me wrong I love what Blackmagic did with the image and codec. Just wish it was in a different camera not the shit one they put it in.

Actually I think cinema camera systems are dust resistant as the fans help keep the inside clean, Sony says the fs7 is also splash and dust resistant.

4000 very clean, barely any noise at all.
12,800 is fine. Better than the A7S II
    25,600 is ok.
If all camera reviews had to wait for the A7S III, you would not be getting any reviews at all.

In case you are interesed on a gear combination like that I believe that Sony will try a camera like BM's with an E mount of course.

That's what I got from one of Sony ceo interviews .

The advantage of the Magicboosrer is that it has no electronic contact.
is a group of glasses that is mounted inside the body without modifying the original mount of the camera.

I sketched it out in AutoCad last night. It's a 1.54 crop against an A7III sensor. I'm not sure if that's a standard full frame size but it seems like it should be close enough.

No chanse Sigma FP will cost more than 2κ $.
    Propably will be around 1500-1800$.
Image quality will define which proposition is better.

We live in a wonderfull tech age for our interests guys. It's a bless that small companies like BM and Sigma offer this kind of products at these prices. Thank God that we don't expect that from Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Arri and Red.

Oh I am Never going to say something bad about Greece. One of the most beautiful places on earth I have been too, especially the Islands.
But big time video separates the men from the boys is all I am saying. You can't Give away what you had before is the problem. It goes to auction for 100 Dollars a Pallet. Pay up or go home. Sure some people work for company's on here. Imagine the money the company you work for have tried up in this stuff. Actually unimaginable money. Just think the money  BBC, ESPN, etc. has, and a few years later now it is outdated... It was 10 years or more ago before that happened when I was in it. Even then it was a Big deal. It got worse and worse. Now it is only a few years. Soon year to year. It is going to get really ugly.
You are Never going to stop social media. There are too many 10 to 14 year old girls in the world. Good luck stopping them! They won't even pick up their clothes lol.

I saw demo footage shot with the Z6 raw out to the Atomos V in ProResRAW. That was on display at NAB.
I also know that the S1 will also have raw over HDMI this year too. This was a high up Panny decision that went against some lower managers in Varicam and EVA1 that did not agree with the idea.
Unfortunately, Nikon dragged their feet too long. They had a chance to beat everybody by 6 + months on raw over HDMI. They had a window to be the first any only camera doing it.
Its looking like Panasonic will have theirs ready right when Nikon is ready. Sorry Nikon...missed opportunity. The big question is Sony. What will they do to answer Nikon, Panny and Sigma in the raw world?
    Jeremy Young jokingly said at CES;
"If you want Canon to do something, get Nikon to do it first. If you want Sony to do something, get Panasonic to do it first"

It is referred to as sensor stack ...
    https://petapixel.com/2014/06/10/sensor-stack-thickness-matter/
It is why many Leica M wide angle lenses perform so poorly on Sony A7 cameras ...
Here is a link to a video by Filippo Chiesa ... BMPCC4K and Speedbooster
... read his comments on AC and glow .... may be related to the stack thickness.
I assume that if you use a SB it should be designed for the camera in question ... otherwise you lose the benefits of the great glass you
have mounted ... the Metabones smart adapter without glass avoids the problem but you lose speed and boost in angle of view.

That is because Nikon doesn't know as much about video as well as Panasonic does. Pretty simple. Panasonic has been making Broadcast Cine stuff for hell 30 years, or more. Mostly 1/2" sensor 3 CCD stuff in the early years. Way cheaper price than Sony, Ikegami was charging.
Yeah Nikon made like VHS type consumer video camcorders for years long time ago, I had a couple. They had really good lenses on them. They got the job done, but they were not as good as Sony Camcorders, really nothing was at the time was as good to be honest. But hey you gets what you pay for.

I am just not a big fan of the later Reds. Just too sterile looking. I think they are going backwards compared to the competition. Too much money, too much hype without solid results as of late. Crazy Ass DR ratings that are BS. But they have been pushing the envelope with 6K, 8K, I will give give them that.
But I think their curb appeal has really diminished. Pretty far down my list of Christmas presents lol.
