I think most people will wonder why Nikon named their LOG profile after the N-word.

I just installed a new Rawlite OLPF into my UMP, mainly for IR cut purposes, but also to take the edge off of sharpness. Take a look at the before/after below. Skintones are much improved under tungsten lighting.

that's awesome - 6 ASA pretty much at the start of commercial films!!!  Man imagine using that indoors!  I think that's why the film industry moved from New York to Hollywood - you needed daylight pouring in to get any exposure.  And Arclights.  Man what a different time now.

The online outrage/PC brigade has been completely out of line and out of control for a while now. The climate for discussion it has created is nothing short of sick. 
Now that the targets have expanded from the right to the middle and the left, maybe they'll end up having some real opposition. Hopefully.

Ron Sim is a good dude. I have 3 Leica R’s that he modded for me, and he’s always been on top of quality control. I haven’t tried the NDs but I’m guessing if he puts his name on it they’re top quality.

I recently shot a very short film in Chinatown (Chicago). I decided to use the GH5s for discreet purposes. All natural lighting. Zeiss 50mm Master Anamorphic. 3200 ISO VLog L.
