Cineman1
I just read about the new SanDisk Extreme Pro CF cards available in 160 MB/s speeds and 256 GB storage size. They are UDMA7. I was wondering if anyone knows if they might enable higher frame rates with the Magic Lantern RAW recording on the 5D Mark III? It would be amazing if they unlocked slow motion capability at a decent resolution.

TC
Gert, so does that mean continuous recording is not possible? 2 minutes is the maximum?
Administrators Andrew Reid Posted December 6, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 6, 2013 Those write speeds are very disappointing for such an expensive card. Slower than my KomputerBay 64GB cards. Get your act together Sandisk.
mtheory
Is there a way to hardware hack the 6D and replace its storage controller with a faster one? I know someone, somewhere can figure it out and post a tutorial...
