  1. Well hello there EOSHD forum readers, I've just posted my short film, Axiomatic, to Vimeo. Shot with an older version of the 5D3 Raw hack without the audio component - remember when we had to reload the Raw modules each time after restarting the camera? Ah well...it still worked flawlessly and I cannot thank all the ML developers enough for what they unlocked. 5D3 raw is simply amazing. Spanish, French and English subtitles are available for whomever needs them and viewer discretion may be advised as there is brief nudity, violence and coarse language. However I tried to make everything as tasteful as possible. Hopefully you can take some time out of your busy day to view it and please feel free to share it with any of your friends or contacts that might enjoy some dark Canadian cinema. Hi there, I just uploaded the final teaser trailer to my short film based on the Australian novelist Greg Egan short story of the same name: Axiomatic teaser_3 Thanks to @mercer for his suggestions on the edit for it. I've love any forum readers and indie film fans to check it out and let me know what they think. The full short will premier online next week so stay tuned if you'd like to know more.
  3. After a long time, I finally produced a new short movie. This time with the Sony FS7, probably not the last time. Coming from a RED Epic, I have to say: The dynamic range is incredible! Shot in CineEL S-LOG 3, 4K 24P. Color graded in Davinci Resolve. Only used small LED lights.

  5. Hi Gals and Boys, my name is Vi-Dan Tran and I am a filmmaker from Germany. From the very beginning of my studies I have only done action films. In the end I decided I wanted to try something new. The short movie "You Never Know" was supposed to be my first non-action movie for my final diploma exams of Media Design with focus on filmmaking. This idea came in my mind while studying in the third semester. I wanted to raise the bar for me with this film. I focused on the characters, dramaturgy, the emotional situation and storytelling. Logline: The successfully womanizer Terry gets into trouble when he falls for the cute and chaotic Lara, unaware that he himself is about to get played... technical details: 5 Days shooting with 95% Available Light and Guerilla Style. Almost without permissions. Canon 5d mark III Carl zeiss compact primes II 50 mm - 85 mm edited with Premiere pro cs6 and After effects CS6 ADR with Zoom H4n and Sennheisser K6 + ME66 You Never Know short film:

  7. Hey there! Just finished up a short film for a local "make a film in a week" competition, and thought I'd share it. It won Best Director, was nominated for Best Drama, and was shot entirely on the Canon 5D MKIII with Zeiss ZF.2 glass. Let me know what you think! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XB5EBZa1qeU
