Selling my Canon 5D Mark III to redirect funds to a CCD.It comes with the 24-105mm IS USM kit lens worth about $400 on its own, a 16gb SanDisk Compact flash card and 2 genuine LP-E6 canon batteries.Body is in excellent condition. Only about 2 years old purchased new and with a very low shutter actuation count of approximately 7k actuation's.
Will deliver in original box with original canon software CDs and Canon strap.Would be great for someone wanting to mod, or to use as is.Asking $1500 for the body and lens.

This is a simple clip i did from a vacation to Porto last year, used a D800 (with the bitrate hack) wth 35mm art lens and Samyang 14mm. It really is a simple clip, not that much storyline, just wanted to have fun grading the footage and assembling it to have something to look at thats all. Graded in premiere.

Hello everyone !
This is my new movie.
It's entitled « eet Gourmandise ».
This is a film about the preparation of cake, a "entremets", specially created for the film.
You can see it there :
It was shot with : Canon 5D MarkII with Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L + 70-200mm f/2.8 L + 100mm Macro.
It was editing with Avid and color graded with DaVinci Resolve.
I wanted to show you and to have your feedbacks.
So if you like it, do not hesitate to share the link of the video on social networks, with your community (Facebook, Twitter ...)
Thank you.
Have a nice day.
...and "Bon Appétit" !!
Florent.

Right now on BH the fs100 with a free metabones EF adapter (after rebate) is only 2500. I've been using a 5d mark ii for the past 4 years as my main camera and although I still love it, it is a pain to use sometimes in a corporate video/documentary environment.
I figure the fs100 at this price with an adapter that will work with all my current glass seems like a great deal for the type of work I've been doing lately.
anyone own one and have some thoughts?

According to DxOMark the dynamic range of the Nikon D800 is a whopping 14.4 stops. I have no problem believing that it is not the same as the Alexa and that the Alexa's 14 stops are calculated differently.
It is interesting though that the Canon 5D Mark III only scores a mere 11.7 in the same test, making it almost a half stop less than the 6D (currently the best performing Canon DSLR in the dynamic range category) and 0.2 stops lower than the Mark II

Does anybody else find this a bit peculiar? Especially since the 5D is the "go to" DSLR for filmmakers, heck I even own one my self.
