  1. Hey everyone, just finished another little Video for German Band "Neonschwarz". We had a one day shoot on RED. Check it out!
  2. Went to Pinpoint Muay Thai and shot some test footage with the Kinefinity Terra 6K. Shot in 4K with a helios44-2 modified by vidatlantic to have oval bokeh. Hope you like it...
  3. Hi! I am selling my red Isco Ultrastar Plus 2.1 anamorphic projection lens with caps. In perfect condition. Stored very safely in a dry box. Known as one of the sharpest budget anamorphic adapters. Together with the Isco, I am also selling 2 Redstan clamps designed specifically for this adapter: rear clamp with 62mm thread (to attach the Ultrastar to your taking lens) and front clamp with 75mm filter thread. Redstan clamps are easily the best clamps for anamorphic adapters and these are solidly-built and fit snugly around the Ultrastar. Step-up rings are optional. With this combination, you are ready to shoot anamorphic! Selling it all for $499. Buyer pays for shipping. Please PM for more information or more pics. Cheers!
  4. - Red One Mysterium-X body - PL Mount - Nikon Mount - 6x 16GB Red CF cards - Red SDI HD adapter - Red Pro LCD + cable - Magic arm - Red Cradle - AC adapter - Top handle + rails The camera doesn't have any problem. Has low hours (I think around 600h, but I can confirm it). It's located in Lisbon, Portugal. Price: 3500€ + shipping Email: [email protected]
  5. The package includes: - Red One camera (around 300h) - PL Mount - Red Cradle - Red Pro LCD (has a small mark but works fine) + cable - 2x Red Drives (640GB and 120GB) + cable - Top handle and 2 rails The camera works fine but when is powered continuously for 7/8 hours some small red dots start showing in the image. I heard this is normal, it's due to sensor overheating. It was never a problem for me because I use it for 2/3 hours continuously maximum and then I turn it off to change set or batteries and the red dots never show up. The camera is located in Lisbon, Portugal. Price: 2500€ + shipping Email: [email protected]
  6. Hi EOSHD community, I've been a daily reader and pretty regular commenter here over the past year, and wanted to share some exciting news. My first feature film will premiere at the LA Film Festival in two weeks! It's been a labor of love and a lot of work to get it to this point, so I'd love for any of you in the area to come out to the screening and to meet IRL. Here's a link for tickets, and the trailer's below. Also of note to readers is the many formats we used to shoot the film. Partly out of necessity, and at times for aesthetic reasons we ended up shooting on at least 5 different cameras and formats: Canon C500 4k Raw, RED, C500 HD, full-frame Canon DSLR, Panasonic GH4, and even iPhone Let me know if you can make it!
  7. Hey folks, I've been posting here for close to a year. All the while working on this project in the background. It's a dramatic coming-of age tale. We shot on both Canon c500 and Red cameras, with vintage Cooke S2 lenses. Let me know what you think!
  8. Hello there ! We had the opportunity and luck to be part of the "Dominica Film Challenge" this year, here is the result of our week in this tiny and lovely island from the Carribeans ! Hope you'll like it. We mainly shot with a Red epic, but there is also some 5d III raw footage as we had troubles with our luggage (4 days to arrive..). There are also a few drone shots made with a phantom 2 and a gopro 4.
  9. Was wondering what the general opinion on grabbing a used Red ONE or what have you is? In my search for a camera, I've kind of ignored Red because I've always thought them to be out of my price range. But looking around, it appears you can get a ONE for relatively "cheap" (4-5k). Would grabbing on of those be preferable to anything else in the price range? I like it because it's 4K compressed RAW, PL mount, and has anamorphic mode for 2.40 aspect ratio. Not sure if there are any known issues to be aware of, or if other options outshine it? Another option i was looking at is a KineMini, but literally nobody in the U.S. has one soooooo....not looking good there. Opinions?
  10. I've been trying Andrew's recommended photo styles enclosed in the GH4 Guide. It seems that the "C3 - Flat" settings can cause banding and a red rainbowing effect on gradient backgrounds. I'm also on DVXUser and we've been discussing the issue and trying to figure out what could be the cause. It appears to be the fact that Master Pedestal is pushed to +15. I'm both trying to report possible issues and figure out fixes. Here's a screen grab of the shot: [Graded] - [Ungraded] I also cooled down the image which helped a bit.
  11. First this one, "Caught", shot on Epic-X: And then "Sweet", shot on prototype Dragon: Cheers Gunleik --- My Blog
  12. Hi,   I had such a good response last time I thought I would post my latest music video shot using an Optex anamorphic adapter.   https://vimeo.com/74284254   Shot on a Red One mostly in 2k crop mode 96fps I wanted to replicate the look of 16mm film. I love shooting in raw, it gave me lots of flexibility in post, using LUTs to get some really filmic colours. Would be cool to get some feed back from some fellow anamorphic lovers.   Cheers,   Chris.
  13. My short film, which I produced and directed for Red 5 Studios and Continuum Films, got published yesterday. The film's executive producers are Mark Kern and Cindi Rice. Mark posted some months ago on reduser about his ambitious project of funding short films (check out the thread). Only request for getting the funds was that the film has to be interesting for gamers (and of course the script and the showreels of the director and DoP had to be approved). Nowadays, views on youtube are a currency. I do have a great new film project which I want to shoot for stage5, but to get the funds, this first film has to be successful. So please have a look at my film "Partner" and, if you like it, share it with your friends. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrG8Y3N4_Qs&feature=share&list=PLlfX4F00N7cuTA3E5Ew33yE_DInODzztN   We shot the film on a RED Scarlet with Nikon AIs lenses. Colorgrading was done in Resolve.   If you have any questions about the production, filming in Berlin, what gear we used or the post production process, go ahead and ask :)   Cheers David
  14. https://vimeo.com/58725919   Got our set of CP2 ... hope you like the video ....
