Hopefully the XH2 will have what you are looking for. XT3 is great and incredibly cheap for what you get but its not perfect.

I haven't really noticed coming from the GH5. Never used a DSLR though.
-
That is some damn good action! Makes me want to do another action short.

Hard to control movements precisely with a gimbal. A little movement translates to a big movement on a long lens.
-
100mm is twice as long as 50mm. The issue I have with mounting a long lens on a gimbal is movement. Gimbals are harder to control then simply holding something by hand. If you are just doing a static shot its fine but if you are trying to pan with the gimbal or move its really difficult.

I haven't seen much on Nikon Dynamic range, what would the outcome be? -
Best color profiles for the GH5

-5 everything except hue and contrast at 0. For the best straight out of camera look I'd recommend Natural. It has the nicest roll off and colors are pretty accurate. HLG is the best if you are going to edit heavy in post or want the most dynamic range. Cine-D for when you can't use HLG(8 bit recording). -
Ahh, yeah you can get good shots handheld with 100mm.
-
I'd rather use a gimbal or monopod with a long lens like that. For me gimbals are better for getting wide moving shots.
-
Yeah I assumed it would be 12bit. Which is pretty cool.

Would be interested to see a Dynamic range test compared to the C200. -
I have zero interest in 8k, but I love the camera body. 5in flip out screen should be the standard, along with the audio jack that camera has.

What you can do with a FHD 60p no ibis no AF camera

I don't know about the title of this thread anymore though man. The A7SII is 4k with IBIS, it was like the two big features of the camera coming from the original A7S that only had 1080p and no IBIS. I agree with the idea of this thread though I'd be more impressed if it was shot on a GH2 or something. -
Nikon Z6 features 4K N-LOG, 10bit HDMI output and 120fps 1080p

Prores RAW won't be worth it for everyone. But having the option to do 12 bit prores RAW is definitely a big plus. As can been seen with the Sony tests, it gives you more to work with in post, even though that translates to more work overall. -
Maybe it'll reduce the crop, which I think they've done on previous cameras.

It seems like its getting to be a mad race to the top. -

Crazy! I am hoping Panasonic and Sony will also be offering RAW recording out. RAW off the Z6 sensor should get quite good dynamic range. -

Looks like a lot of amazing photography features. -
how many space do you need for short/medium length/feature film?

I've heard the C100 mk2 has a better image, but I haven't looked at comparisons. The flippy screen on the MK2 is cool.
