  1. Definitely looks like a good option. I am seeing them used under $2000 on ebay. Better internal recording than the C100 and of course better external options. The C100 mk1 and mk2 are better at high ISO's though. Really considering the C100 MK2.
  2. Wonder how well it deals with shots with lots of movement, with it's relatively low bitrate
  3. Yeah its just a great camera at a low cost, though they just weren't pushing boundaries with it. The new Nikon offerings make it less special, but it still leading in terms of Photo AF. The XT3 is more of a specialty camera, though it can work as an all in 1 as well. 4 60p 200mbos H265, is something to behold in a $1500 camera.
  4. RAW images out of the G7 and GH4 and GX85 all look pretty simular. The G7 and GX85 seem to hold a bit more detail and have a little less color noise. Looks like the GH4 has better rolling shutter performance though and the 1080 is definitely better. The G7 is limited to 24-60p at 30mbps while the GH4 does 100mbps or 200 all-i
  5. G7 is a nice camera too. Unfortunately it has the smaller batteries. The Size of the camera and flip out screen are nice. The sensor seems similar to the GX85, though I think there is less rolling shutter. If you consider moire, Panasonic is the best. XT20 and XT2 will are more detailed though, as they are using a 6k sensor. The XT2 with Flog is quite a nice image, great dynamic range, roll off, and very detailed image.
  6. Canon needs to start giving you commissions. ?
  7. Yeah the OG C100 dual auto focus isn't the hottest from what I have seen. The batteries on those look luxurious too, thats another bonus. C100 MK2's are getting cheaper it looks like. tbh any excuse to get another camera I will take. ?
  8. Very true. For weddings my setup now is two cameras doing closer shots (xt3 and XH1) and a third static camera taking a continuous recording. Of course any camera can do continuous recording with an external recorder. The easiest option in terms of grading would be another Fuji camera, but that is boring. ? For wedding a continuous wide shot shouldn't be hard to match in post, vs doing a bunch of random clips. Getting pretty off topic now though lol
  9. That does look pretty. Good, I am keeping my XT3 for 120fps though?? C100 could be in my near future though, ? Having the endless options of Canon glass is tempting.
  10. Fuji has pretty nice colors without grading, its actually the reason I switched over from Panasonic. But yeah it probably is a good way to go, though no 60p. Built in ND's would be nice. I can't really say anything about C100 auto focus as I've never used it. Yeah I forgot the C100 is actually pretty small. I'd not go for an FS5 as I am color blind and need either a Canon or Fuji to rely on lol. I might pick one up if I find a really good deal on it. I need three cameras for shooting, a used C100 might a good option third camera. Continuous recording is nice.
  11. I got a Sony F3, and then sold it. I am just too used to the tiny camera thing. For real my takeaway after going through the camera craze is that my OG GH2 was fine for most projects lol. There are times when the new tech comes in handy. The Fuji XT3 is nice though, pretty much as nice as anything I can afford I would say. I am probably going to be doing a lot of weddings this year. Auto focus and all that BS comes in handy. Also thank you for the compliment
  12. I'll have to dig through the Nikon z6 thread. I saw something from DPreview about the Z6 4K looking better then the Z7 and the Z6 1080 having more sharpening.
  13. Yeah I think being a low MP sensor helped. Its pretty clean up to 12,800 iso. I wish they'd put it in a smaller body with 60p and PDAF, and IBIS ? I'd buy it
  14. The only competition it has is the Canon EOS R, though I don't know if that does non cropped 4k externally?
  15. webrunner5, I just looked it up. Interesting method though it appears you need an external recorder. Beautiful footage.
  16. Yeah hopefully its something they can fix via firmware somehow. That said its still a sub $2000 camera recording 10 bit full frame 4k. Pretty impressive with or without auto focus.
  17. Its got 1080p 60p as well, which the Canon C100 doesn't have ?
  18. The manual focus on it is really awesome. I wish more lenses were built like that.
  19. I think because other cameras still haven't caught up. You'd expect cameras now to be doing the same thing for cheaper.
  20. GH3 also look at the G6. Neither are a bad option. Coupled with an Olympus 17mm 1.8 and you have a pretty good all purpose setup. The IBIS on the GX85 is quite good. Anything under 50mm works pretty well. As long as you are keeping it pretty steady. Not something you can just walk around with though.
  21. Yeah but the XT3 was innovative that is why it got a high ranking. Plus we know Fuji is putting out a body with IBIS within a year or so, will Canon do the same? I just looked at a thread from 2016 where a guy was saying that the 1DX2 is the best on the market, but in a couple years it probably no longer will be relevant. 3 years later and its still one of the best choices on the market. I wasn't saying they were wide, I was saying there are affordable options.
