  1. How do you feel the GH5S compares to 1DC?
  2. Didn't mean it literally, pal. 'Really large prints.' Even then plenty of people managed before high MP cameras.
  3. Pretty much any DSLR made in the last 10 years is good enough for photos, unless your work is going on billboards. I prefer the colours of my D700 (ancient) do D750 sometimes.
  4. Voigtlanders at 0.95-1.4 are good for taking the edge off the sharpness too.
  5. Prediction- they'll put even more cool stuff in for a great price, and people who use it to shoot flower videos will still complain about it.
  6. It'd be interesting to see a D850 vs 1DC shootout with realworld subjects. Esp with regards to motion. The Tamron Di VC lenses (their equiv of Sigma's Art) have excellent IS if anyone needs stabilisation for Nikon.
  7. It's a shame how far behind it is in some ways, since the rendering speed can be insane compared to other software.
  8. Had the PEN-F for about a month, it looked great and the JPG film profiles were fun, but that's where the compliments end. . .
  9. Yup, 30-60fps will help this a lot. You can notice a bit of this jitter even in films shot on 35mm at 24fps.
  10. 1. Anyone had overheating issues? A friend of mine uses the 1DC for pro work and claims it overheats quite a bit. Maybe it's his copy. 2. Can the Sigma Art 18-35 be attached to it? Anyone used it on the 1DC?
  11. Not a fan of B&W video with a few exceptions. Always felt it takes you "out" of movies too much unless they are genuinely that ancient. Love it for stills tho.
  12. Another vote for the D750. It'll be a good stills choice for years to come, a lot of people still rate the D700 highly.

The 12-35 is the most clinical/lifeless lens I've ever used. Bleh.
  14. Out of the two, I'd keep the D750, for sure, if most of your work is stills.
  15. The 58mm Voigtlander Nokton is a good cheaper alternative to the Nikon 58.
  16. mpb just had one for £2500 in mint condition, did anyone here buy it? (1DC)
  17. Not surprised it's being so well received, the D750/D810 video was quite under-rated. Lovely colours.
  18. FF: Sigma Art 35mm M43: Voigt 17.5mm

    Any shots/stills from the 35mm?
