I wish I'd held on to my Mamiya Z 110m just for adapting. Incredible lens that isn't all that large by 6x7 standards.
  2. Thanks. I'll have a look. No I don't know a Bluesy.
  3. They are both made by Cosina, but not sure how close the optics are. I could do a test with Zeiss 85mm at f2.8 in FX mode and Voigt 58mm at f2 DX mode and try and match up the distance etc to see how close they look.
  4. Those look good. I suppose with the cinemagraph I was thinking most of the frame would be still then a bit of hair on a model or something would be the only thing moving, such a tiny part of the frame the detail issue wouldn't be a huge worry, but yeah I can see 12fps would be enough for cinemagraphs without the need for twixtoring.
  5. Yeah, it's just burst shooting mode. I've thought of using the GH4 like this for cinemagraphs with raw 12fps, then twixtoring the moving part to 24fps.
  6. I've been using my D750 with a Zacuto Z-Finder as a 'mirrorless', for stills, to focus MF lenses accurately. Works well and looks like you're using a Phase One from a distance.
  7. Voigtlander 58mm has similar contrast/sharpness from F2.8
  8. What did you pay for it?
  9. 4k30 (even better 60) with Nikon DR/colours will be pretty nice.

  11. Really nice. What did you use for camera movement?
  12. A reduction back to 499 indefinitely would be nice.

Thanks. I couldn't believe I won the auction that low, tbh. Someone else is offering it on there right now for 750.

A still I found on Flickr.
  15. It's a pity the Nikon Hacker raw video thing never seemed to go anywhere. Imagine ML-esq raw on the D5300 or D750 etc..
  16. 2nd/3rd vote for the Panasonic 12-35mm.

I just got the Zeiss ZF (not ZF.2) 28mm F2 recently. Is this considered the same optically as the Contax Zeiss 'Hollywood' 28 F2? I quite like it, regardless, and it only cost £300.
  18. You can get the D750 now in the UK for under 1000 on ebay. I think it's quite a bargain at that price, probably as good as the 5D4 (for stills) to most eyes.
  19. The Voigtlanders aren't really sharp until 2.8, but the look at 0.95 is still very nice.
  20. It will be really tempting just on the IBIS in a 18 months or so when it gets down to the price the EM1 was recently...
  21. Before I was dumb enough to sell my MFT Voigtlanders, I used a B+W XS-PRO 5-stop variable nd. It is really good. I got mine for 1/3 of retail used on ebay, so look around.
  22. Got the Nikon 200mm F4 AI this week really cheap on ebay. Fantastic lens for the price.
