Its just the regular MC-21 that has already been released so around $250 for EF version and around $125 for the SA version.
The MC-31 is stil TBA but I'd guess it will be closer in price to the Wooden Camera PL to L mount at $499 than it will to the Leica one at $1399.
For a budget option, Fotodiox now do one for around $150.
For a really budget option, you can download the 3D files off Sigma and print one yourself !

Those are actually the spare ones
That particular lens is a bit of a heavy breather which makes it look a bit off particularly in snap mode but the sensor needs a bit more tuning too.
More samples in a few days and a bit more of an insight into how the other non-ToF aspects of the focus controller work.

Time of Flight / LiDAR continuous autofocus is really quite remarkable technology. There are rumours Panasonic will implement it on future cameras like the GH6. Don’t you wish the current autofocus-challenged cameras like the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K or GH5 could have amazingly smooth Dual Pixel AF-like performance?
Well, you could soon be in luck. Time of Flight Autofocus is a reality and I’ve seen it working.
With this prototype add-on, a Time of Flight sensor sits in the hotshoe and talks wirelessly to the Pocket 4K. The autofocus motors in the Micro Four Thirds lens are commandeered based on real-time depth sensing information from the LiDAR beam.

I think logically it will be in that sort of price bracket and probably at the lower end of it.
It doesn't have an EVF and for stills shooters they will be expecting it to be at least as cheap as a full frame mirrorless that does like the Canon RP or even the Sony A7ii.
My concern would be that Sigma have set some optimistic prices for most of their other cameras at launch but those cameras were always going to be niche so hopefully the economies of scale with this one will change that.
I hope so anyway as I'm already doing the "Well, I've already got so many of the BP-51 batteries already that it almost doesn't make economical sense not to buy it" justifications to my better half
I might be in full on justification mode here but I'm pretty ambivalent about it recording RAW internally.
In the context of it being a modular camera anyway, using a Samsung T5 drive or whatever to record to is perfectly OK by me for a few reasons.
The first one is the capacity aspect and the second is actually about then just being able to attach that drive to the computer and start editing it instead of having to tit about with card readers. Those drives are also a bit more readily available if you're out and about than having to track down CFAst or ultra fast SD cards.
The other reason is a bit more philosophical in that I think the FP is a stills camera and it is a cine camera but its not necessarily a hybrid.
The modularity of it, to me at least, means its a sensor in a box and you dress it accordingly or not dress it in the case of when you want it to be a stills camera.
As a cine camera, I envisage it having a grip that incorporates more power but also has an SSD slot and you just attach that as one piece at which point what is internal and external recording is a bit of a grey area if you know what I mean. For example no one considers a RED to not record RAW "internally" but the reality is that it is doing it externally internally and this would then be exactly the same.
I think that is why Sigma were making a big issue about opening it up to accessory manufacturers as a way of having much better integrated solutions than having to cobble together rigs.
To be honest, even if I was ostensibly taking it out to use as a stills camera and thought that I might want to record some raw video then its no hardship to have a T5 in a pocket should the need arise.
In point of fact, if Sigma put in a file transfer page to move stills on to a T5 directly from the camera then I'd always have one with me anyway because, again, that whole card reader thing gets old for transfer particularly if you want to edit on a tablet.

Here's a screen grab of the images in Resolve, the left screen is the XT3 file and the right is from the Ninja. I set them both to 300 and lined them up to form basically one image with a line in the middle. I thought that would be the easiest way to see if there's any difference in the colour. - both are set to Full in Clip Attributes. To my eyes, they're exactly the same, but if there is a difference, I wouldn't even think about it while shooting.
One thing I did notice though, is the capture from the Atomos is 2 or 3 frames behind the file straight from the camera, nothing major, and I'm sure it's not camera / recorder specific, but worth noting.
If people want, I could also post screen grabs from the colour page, showing the histogram, vector scope, curves etc. But they don't change at all between the clips. Safe to say they're exactly the same image from that perspective too...

Barney Britton has responded to say he is now consigning all my emails to his spam folder and breaking off communications.
If he won't remove the ban on EOSHD at DPReview, then Amazon will.
And I sent him this:
It isn’t a closed matter or a case for the spam folder for me. I will be taking things to Amazon, putting in a complaint with them about the negative impression your forum ban is creating for EOSHD, the censorship of your own users and the damage it has caused to the reputation of my site. No doubt I will be pointing out the history of copyright infringement and slander on your forum to them as well, because I have screenshots of posts that were left up for months before being deleted.
As well as the inconvenience the forum URL ban places on your users (and Amazon’s customers), it means that Google is picking up EOSHD related topics and discussions on your forum, placing these above the original topics on EOSHD and they are all orphaned without a link to the source, damaging the SEO ranking of my site and causing material harm to my income.
The forum ban has been in place for how many years now - 3? 4?
You have over several years wound me up to such an extent that you’ve created a negative impression with other staff at DPReview such as with Scott, Chris and Jordan, as well as your forum users. It’s an absolute disgrace. I didn’t have a problem with anyone else at DPReview apart from you and Shawn. Gannon makes a string of idiotic mistakes, but you’re persistently insidious.
Think about that next time you have the cheek to ask me to seek to edit my opinions on my own forum.
At least I managed to refrain from calling him a cock-womble this time.
Time to turn my focus to Amazon, after all they are the real boss. It is time for Amazon to put an end to the personal vendettas.

I hope in the future as the VFX tools we have at hand get better and as crew awareness increases then we'll be able to happily have booms in shot much more often for the sake of improved sound. This is already common place on many shoots such as "House of Cards", and advancing VFX technology will lead to an expansion of situations booms can be put into shot.
