now only needs a sim card, we can easily dial phone numbers with these buttons, and talk with our client.

JurijTurnsek reacted to hoodlum in Google Pixel XL Camera Sample 4K - The Best Yet?
Here are some details on the sensor found in the Pixel. The sensor is capable of much more than what Google implemented in the Pixel.

JurijTurnsek reacted to Luke Mason in A7sIII - Get ready?
"certain sensor resolutions are better suited for it than others." is exactly incorrect. From a pure image quality perspective, the more resolutions to work with the better, for example, Nokia Pureview technology oversamples from 41MP raw data to produce 8MP/5MP/2MP ones, they are sharp and clean because the noise can be average out.
The "multiples of 4K" concept you mentioned is designed for optimal speed, called pixel-binning, groups of pixels are readout as one instead of every single pixel. The bin requires equal number of pixels horizontally or vertically, like 2x2, 3x3 etc. Hence the need for "multiples" of resolution. Pixel binning tends to create noisier and softer images with higher likelihood of moire.

Most of you here make your living with this tech, so for you it is only a tool. You buy a new one, when you current one does cut it for the job. AFAIK none of you even bought or kept the A6300, so why the outrage? Frequent releases are always better. The best strategy would be to simply release new models each year around the same time like smartphone flagships, so you would know when to hold off the purchase before new tech is announced.

Rename them as one the non-4K modes and run it

Didn't this guy claim that the A6300 does not overheat the second day of its release? Grain of salt needed.

JurijTurnsek got a reaction from kidzrevil in Are bridge cameras the perfect solution for run & gun ?
RX10III is not a direct successor, but rather an alternative with the longer reach. What Sony should do is make a 12mpx 1" 24-200m f2.8 RX10IV and focus on the fiddly controls etc.

JurijTurnsek got a reaction from Blue Fox in A-mount monster!! Sony A99 II announced with 8K sensor, full frame 4K and 5 Axis Image Stabilisation
Remains to be seem if the FF 4K mode has been improved from. a7RII. Unfortunately, Sony missed the chance for releasing an "a9" model which would be the a99II with E-mount and no mirror (give a complimentary adapter for A-mount users).

JurijTurnsek reacted to Gregormannschaft in No value of c-log on 1dx2 and 5d4
These things make me laugh. He's a PR rep, not a technician, or a camera man. He get's his job by being good in front of a camera, friendly and personable - not tech knowledge. That's no excuse, he should know what he's talking about, but this is why he clearly doesn't.

JurijTurnsek got a reaction from andrgl in iPhone 7: 4k60p confirmed
Bluetooth earphones and wireless charging have both been available for some years now. Go for it, Apple does not exist in a vacuum. Have fun charging you earphones, though.
The only sensible thing would be to make wireless earphones that can charge and work with a supplied cable when the battery runs out. Cables are only really obtrusive only a fraction of the time (like for exercise).

JurijTurnsek got a reaction from The Chris in Sigma re-housed their stills lenses into cine bodies
There is not a lot of initiative for developing dedicated FF short-flange distance lenses (with AF), since they only make sense on FF E-mount bodies. APS-C short-flange lens designs can be used on a few more mounts and can make sense even on m43. If Canikon ever joins the FF short-flange party, then Sigma will follow.

JurijTurnsek reacted to hoodlum in iPhone 7: 4k60p confirmed
Most current smartphone sensors are currently capable of supporting 4k60p. The limiting factors has been the processing capabilities to create 4k60p content without overheating. Android phones will only be able to support it once the latest Snapdragon processor can do it without overheating.

JurijTurnsek got a reaction from Marco Tecno in 1.74x - A Crop Odyssey - Canon 5D Mark IV officially announced
Where does this crop leave future APS-C models? No 4K at APS-C crop for 4 more years? Also, poor future 6D markII, he never stood a chance it seems.
One glimmer of hope though: dual pixel AF was introduced with 70D, so maybe a proper 4K implementation will be too :D

JurijTurnsek got a reaction from William Koehler in 5DIV full spec and full image leak
Seems like Canon vs Sony debate for the next few years will be: with Canon, the battery lasts me all day, just don't ask me about memory cards and vice versa for Sony.
