The sad truth is, that in the future Canon will surely launch a "firmware fix" and this problem will be solved, we will all forget about it because the camera will probably be great and in the end, Canon still wins.

Looks like an easy fix . 

Its gonna sell tons regardless for photography alone. Not buying this camera wont solve the R5's problems. But at this point I wont buy one, because of the overheating and also the price is too high atm.

Oh man, that's just butter!  And, with the worst lens .

I'm quite honestly blown away by the footage from the R5 and by the gimbal like stabilization.

These folk here can’t understand that.  The average shot in a commercial is about a second .
i think their brains are hit with the Almighty  ‘cripple hammer “ which they refer to constantly.

R5 will be a great hit with Hollywood productions. A perfect companion camera to Arri or Red, costing a fraction, weighing nothing (drones).
The IBIS replaces the steadicam, the F2 / 28-70 is like  a set of top primes. In the standard 4k/24, R5 records for hours. When FX/greenscreen is needed-
8k raw kicks in. Overheating? The length of the average take is 1-2 minutes. The  breaks between takes  can be really long. You need to sacrifice a camera?
Ridiculos cheap. Need 10-20 units for the big battle, fights, crashes, explosions  or chases? - no problem.  SloMo - check. Arctic shooting - love it.
Ergonomics - check.  Cinema verite onobtrusivness - check. Run-and gun - check. Etc, etc etc. 
 

bye bye and by the way I eard that canon is contacting you as you suggested for point 2 of your article as advisor on the next camera and alto build a 7nm cpu fab for them and for intel view that they are late......
 you have some serious problem with anybody that do not share your opinion and you are wondering why nobody in the camera industry wants to discuss with you....

Rumors are not true apparently. I remember last time company had to deny something like this - Olympus anyone? te he he. 

Recall and Out of Stock notices are not the same.  Rumors are rumors.   Sounds like it's more of a image marketing issue that Canon knows they can't win with negative doom and gloom You Tubers. 
Has anyone tested or released a street production model?  
Canon is a big enough company to have 3 different part options for everything in the R5.  Going with top of the line composites is not always the case.   Canon engineers have this covered.  Look what happened with Nikon Z6 and sending the camera in for an upgrade to record Pro Res RAW externally?
