"V-Log works perfectly on mine. I dont like the stabilisation but the rest ist just wonderfull. even the AF is very good. its a prosumer camera so you have to choose settings. if you change the 225 focus modus to center you get better results as the rx100, i´m sure about that"

Blame much more Panasonic reps than the complexity of their AF system. Other than that, it is a film camera, not exactly the typical vlog one. Good for her imagerie! ;-)

I found Germany Too Perfect LoL. I have never been to Berlin. I know that city is really a Lot different than the rest. Probably would be a cool place to live. I am sure Andrew knows all about that place.
Now a place I don't much care if I ever go back to was Algiers North Africa! Wow was that a real change from reality! Like living back in the time of Christ. It was interesting to say the least. I was in the Congo also. That is a beautiful country. But wow the poor people that lived in it!
Craziest place I was ever at was I volunteered to go to a Leaper Colony on the Island of Malta! We had truck loads of fresh fruit we delivered to them in Dump Trucks. They lived down in this stone quarry. It had little rooms where they lived. Probably was 50 foot deep or more. There were a Lot of people in it. Jesus what a way they had to live. Sad stuff for sure. But I loved Malta, cool place. But it is a rock pile to be sure LoL.

The manual suggests over 3 hours non-stop. Have you tested the file? Doesn't play natively in Premiere without recoding. 

Ermm, I think AFF would be off and the point focus (edit: but just when using pre-burst). Rest works. Was using AFC for it before. It is a photo mode after all.

Down at the last paragraph under "First Impressions". Seems like it does AF.

@Davey 99% is quite a big amount of people, for you to know their wishes and needs.
I wouldn't say no (I do care more for a robust 10 bit file than 4K/60p), but I do not see hordes of people buying the GH5 any time soon.
I am pretty confident that Canon M can sell as good as Panasonic this year, with soft 1080p.
@webrunner5 I am reading that the battery life isn't like GH4, if anyone can confirm about battery life, please do.
The camera is extremely cheap for what it offers, I still can't believe all the specs, and you know that GH5 will be a workhorse, reliable and productive, unlike some other brand's models.

I just post to overcome my 666 posts, and move from the demonic side of this forum towards the light (the opposite of high ISO)!
I was editing a multi camera project these last days, and a lot of times I was considering giving some more light to specific cameras, in the end I just kept the atmosphere the way it was, because I had a very dark scene, the solution is not 1983754298 ISO because the scene is dark, if there is no light source on my scene, why to try to make it like it is?
Now I understand why people are obsessed with high ISO (because they are shooting "night for day"!), and I comprehended why I do not have such problems (because I shoot "night for night"!). Even in real cinematography, you just do not randomly light a scene, you have objective or subjective light sources..

I'm still finding central area focusing works the best. That central area can also be moved anywhere you like. I found it impossible to watch that 45 minute video from Peter. This info could have been distilled down to 5-10 minutes. 
I also don't understand why he thinks 225 points 'has the most power' as he said in a previous video. What good is the 225 points when the camera decides where it wants to focus in that mode?
He means well, he's harmless, but dang, he sure likes to hear himself talk.

I like them. And the a6500 has the best color of any Sony i've used. Still, the color of the GH5 really knocks me out--standard and natural are both great and so easy to make them look beautiful in post. I love my Canon cams, but if the AF of the GH5 were solid I think I'd use it on talking head presentations. I think it rivals Canon color out of the cam--different but beautiful.
