It seems that the Kowa 8Z and its alternatives is a good bet. I've seen others that are projection style but the EOSHD book states that they should be avoided. Is that still true? It seems projection styles are fairly cheaper than non but if the image is the same and everything else besides the weight distribution it might seem like a possibility to get one. Is it just to mark how wide the lens would go? And is it similar or exactly the same for all the other anamorphic?
