So, as mentioned a few weeks back, I've just completed the first episode of a webseries shot with anamorphic lenses and MagicLantern raw. For this one, we used a LOMO Foton-A, and there's only ONE Iscorama shot. Episode 2 was almost entirely Isco, except for the very beginning. As soon as it's ready, it'll show up here too.

Don't forget to enable the english subtitles, as all dialogues are in portuguese. :P

Keep on posting more of these as they become available, I'd love to see more :)

I loved the composition of that shot where she walks down the stairs while he hides behind the pillar - great composition with the wide aspect ratio.

Also very cool environment, those are some crazy abandoned buildings! Are those to be found in Sao Paulo?

Thanks guys!

We got a bit stuck between episodes 2 and 3, but it's gonna move forward soon. hahah

Yes, the location is at University of Sao Paulo, an abandoned construction site. There are more places like this around town, but they're very little safe for a small crew and lots of gear. It takes a while to find a decent one. :(

Gábor, sure! I'll do it tomorrow, because it's really late and I gotta teach some classes tomorrow. :P

Youtube didn't fuck it up so much, though. The Foton can be soft many times, and footage is a bit grainy too (ISO 1250). It gets pretty good if you choose the biggest resolution (1440p I believe).

Hahaha, ok, I must admit, the one shot that everyone is talking about is my favorite one as well. hahahaha

And, yes, it would've been awesome to have a split diopter there!

Gábor, here's a couple frames for you! Original DNG, from the camera, and the final version, TIFF.

Part 2! All the night parts were done using m42 russian glass, iscorama and a 5D3 shooting raw. Lighting was mainly practical with flames, a couple flashlights and one "Kick" led panel (from kickstarter).

we're currently moving towards an 8-episode first season, to be shot during May, using BMPCC and anamorphic lenses (Iscorama and Foton-A). :)

      Hello EOSHD forum
First time poster and long time reader here. I wrote/directed a short film based on Aussie sci-fi novelist Greg Egan's story 'Axiomatic'. I shot this on a 5DmkIII with Zeiss and Takumar primes and the older 1080p ML Raw hack as the 4k option wasn't available yet. Please feel free to check out the teaser trailer on Vimeo:

I am selling a used Canon 5D Mk II I purchased from Adorama on December 30, 2016. It includes a 2 year New Leaf warranty (unregistered), as well as my kit I've used with it. I've just shot two projects using ML Raw and it's been fantastic; however, I'm a student at the University of Michigan, and can't afford to hold onto this kit.
My asking price for the package is $1700 USD, will ship via USPS Priority Mail in U.S. for $25 USD or International Mail with Insurance for $50 USD.
Feel free to reply with questions or PM me if you're interested.
As far as I can tell, the only issue with the camera is that the mic jack is not working--but this should be covered under the New Leaf warranty.  Otherwise, all items are fully functional. As for the item photos, please excuse the photo quality.
1x - Canon 5D MK II Camera Body
      2x - LP-E6 Aftermarket Batteries* (for Zacuto Z-EVF & Cam)
1x - Mini HDMI to HDMI Cable* (for Z-EVF connection)
1x - Mosaic Engineering VAF-5D2b Optical Anti-Aliasing / Moire Filter (already installed in the 5D body, must be used in LiveView Mode)
1x - Canon EF 24mm f2.8 (Mk I) Lens (also includes UV filter)
      1x - Canon EF 24-105 f4 L (Mk I) Lens
1x - Zacuto Z-Finder EVF (http://www.zacuto.com/zfinderevf) (no shoe mount included)

Finally, the music clip I shot is out. Great decoration work and showing that the mighty 50D still has plenty of qualities.
Shot with Canon 50D in raw, isco Ultrastar, Helios 44M, Jupiter-9 and Practika 135/2.8

      Here's a music video I directed and DOP'd recently, using BMCC 2,5K, 5D2 (ML RAW) and RX10 MK2.
We shot it over the span of two nights, the chosen location caused some heavy time constraints but it was visually perfect for us.
I wanted it to have an authentic old school film noir look and feel, so I ended up using some heavy diffusion on RX10 and BMCC, and vintage lenses on the 5D, and also lighting it in a very vintage fashion.
Of the three cameras, 5D definitely delivered my favourite images. The set of lenses used on it were Petzval 85/2.2, Super-Takumar 50/1.4 and Takumar 35/2.3. They gave it the signature swirly bokeh and naturally soft, dreamy look. I continually keep being blown away by how good ML RAW looks.
BMCC was a solid performer, but due to the crop using vintage lenses on it becomes an exercise in futility. I had the Petzval on it for a few shots, but most of the Blackmagic footage was with Sigma 18-35 and some heavy diffusion filters (Cokin-P Diff1/2 and Pastel).
RX10 was used only for the slow motion at the end, and even with about 5KW of lighting blasted at it, it still struggled - which is nothing new, really. The shots turned out acceptable after some heavy filtering.
The Petzval lens was a new one for me, as prior to this I'd had only time for some small walkaround tests with it. I'm actually amazed at how beautifully that lens performs. Definitely a keeper.
      Any feedback is welcome.
