Caleb Genheimer
Hi, all! I have a question to pose to Lomo squarefront users. The fronts are not all the same, right? Which of the squarefronts can go on which of the spherical Lomo back lenses (the coupling ones)? For example, can the 50mm squarefront go on the 75mm Lomo spherical? Can it go on the 35mm too, or does it vignette? Which combos work (if any) and which do not? Thanks in advance!
QuickHitRecord
It sounds like you are talking about the OCT-18 NAS square fronts. The 50mm and 75mm spherical lenses share the same anamorphic front (the one that looks more like a square), while the 35mm spherical lens has its own anamorphic front (looks more like a rectangle/oval hybrid):
Caleb Genheimer
Yup, that's the stuff! Most importantly, the 35mm probably cannot use the front that the others do, correct?

Hans Punk
@QuickHitRecord - Apologies if you have already covered this in a previous post, but where did you get the rod clamps for the square fronts? I have a LOMO 35NAS4-10 front anamorphic attachment on it's way, and am trying to work out the best way to build a support system.
QuickHitRecord
It's a height-adjustable baseplate (readily available on eBay) with the baseplate removed. I bought a drill bit that is a hair wider than the girth of the dovetail screws and then drilled two holes in it and the screws go right through. It works pretty well.
