Short film created by Nick Thomas, Calgary based Director of Photography. The entire film was shot on the FUJIFILM X-T3 with only the FUJINON MKX18-55mmT2.9.
 

Now filming for a few days in The Efteling, the Netherlands. Because of the low light at evening I decided to build my setup; NX1 + NXL speedbooster + Mamiya 55mm f1.4 + Bolex 16/32/1.5x + Rectilux HCDNA. I had to set the lens not at infinity, but somewhere about 10 meters to get the sharpest results. The film follows later, for now a few pictures.
After all, I am very happy with the NXL speedbooster.

To be fair, the rolling shutter is also pretty shit on the NX1 - but that is doing a 6K readout, no crop, and it's 4 years old!!
If the EOS R were a laptop, it'd run DOS.

I'm sure folks have posted this new short film shot with the Fujifilm X-T3, but here it is anyway. This film is beautiful, and I think Andrew is right about it being a Samsung sensor. Footage from this camera is nothing like previous Fujifilm cameras. It really has a Samsung NX1 feel about it. And I shot hundreds of hours of footage with an NX1 and sold it about 2 weeks ago. I loved my NX1, and it was great for many years, but the macro blocking finally made me sell it. This new improved sensor looks like a major evolutionary step. Samsung must have had some help with the processor too. Only a few companies and Samsung is one of them, has the technology for so much horsepower from a tiny chip.  Also, these images do not look like Sony sensor, in my opinion. Check out old NX1 videos and you will see the similarities. Anyway, enjoy.

NX1 is actually more advanced with H.265, 6K readout, 1080/120fps and it is 5 years old.

Sony sort of have to go 10-bit on A7S3 or I just don't see what that model has to bring to the table vs A73. Keep in mind though, it will probably still cost +$3K and have very low MP count. It's a speciality camera, not really an all-rounder.
Nikon Z6 is still packing a lot of heat for 2 grand. Absolutely awesome to see confirmation the battery life way exceeds what was initially announced!
1000 shots / 2h10mn 4K ..with LCD on all the time! what was CIPA smoking when they rated it?!

If pro photography is your main gig.. then this is definitely not going to top a D850 (or even D750) especially with adapted lens.
But for hybrid/video shooting, i think Z6 is going to be the bees knees!
@Mark Romero 2 1080p 120fps only in DX crop mode???   that's on Z7. Z6 won't crop.

Andrew, I think Samsung will make big mistakes when they don't come back in camera business. Now they only have mobile phones and camerachips. Imagine what happen with their phone marketshare when Canon/Nikon/Sony are going to cooperate with mobile phone producers. How does it sound to you if you buy a mobile phone with a 'Canon inside' camera as second next to your Canon mirrorless. Same colourprofiles and art of menu. I am still happy with my NX1, but I love to see the news about all improvements. If i decide to buy Nikon FF mirrorless or A7SIII this autumn, the chance that I'll buy a Samsung camara again would be very very small. Note..., for filming I am not a Canon fan ?

I got a good feeling on this one.. I just hope for our sake they don't drop the ball as usual on video features.. imagine 10-bit, N-Log, HFR & good AF. would be game over as far as i'm concerned!

Still difficult what to do now. Looking forward to a camera with IBIS, for filming and photographing. A7III, BMPC4K, GH5 are interesting but does not have that extra IMO. The a6700 rumour would be the most exciting replacement for my NX1. Now this news. I think I will wat a few months for upgrading.

Recently I took my antiquated Collectors Edition NX-1 out for nostalgia purposes. Came up with this.
Shot it with the S-Lenses. Mostly 16-50 + 4 filters over it
(BTW Autofocus is null & void with 4 Filters stacked on it)
