That with low rolling shutter and full VLOG curve and all the good stuff from the m43 GH5, all that for 3000, would be my first FF digital camera! Hard to believe though!

1st - people not happy with this site should go elsewhere. 
2nd - this site produces valuable article on cameras and also a nice exchange place in the forum 
3 - andrew gets less invites to event not because he shoots not as good as Dpreview, but because he is critical. So companies don’t want to hear their camera is shit. But they are. Most cameras are shit for various reasons and there is abyssimal margin for improvement, and it’s hard to find à cameras that does most things right. When things are right he says it too. We need critical people especially when all other reviews have their rating scale between 4/5 and 5/5.
4 - I canceled the BM preorder not because of the joker who produced the answer shown in Andrew’s article but because I realized I am not gonna pay for a camera bigger and heavier than a GH5 FF / A7S3 that has a sensor smaller than a nail and can’t focus. Appreciate he said we are clowns nonetheless  ?

Well considering I was just trying to get YOU an early review of the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K... I expect a bit of support and gratitude.

They simply underestimate the thousands of sales they've made from this location. Fact. This is truly disgusting to see. Time for a change.

Panasonic do it right. A tech related feedback session and a friendly meet-up. No wining and dining PR stunts in gin bars.
On the table is a pre-production GH5S.
Dave at Red Shark was also at the event and I met Holden, the main distributor for Blackmagic in the UK.
All of them friendly people. Receptive to technical collaboration and supportive of the blog.
All I expected from Blackmagic in the 5 months since NAB was a "hello".
The Manchester event would have been nice to go to. I have not even seen the Pocket 4K in person yet, and Blackmagic's Patrick in PR knows this full well.
John's response on here was COLD and dismissive. To him I'm just another idiot blogger. Just another blog. And you guys are just nerds to him, who cannot grade.
I think it's disgraceful.

I don't know how they gonna handle the customer perception management. With m4/3 the message was "for high quality photo and video, you don't need FF, and with fast lenses we and others are making for the system, you don't even miss FF DOF". With jumping to FF, its like saying "sorry guys, we were wrong about that".

I think you are only interested in arguing but here you go;
1, You can't invent colours that are not captured or recorded in the first place. I get paid to manage colour but I'm not a magician
2, REC709 and many other non log camera profiles have limited DR and Gamut so it doesn't matter how many bits the file has if the data isn't there.
3,If you view rec709 on a REC 2020 device without transforming it that isn't a workflow it's called operator error. SD to HD - what point are you making in relation to any of the above?
 

Who is going to transform REC709 to REC2020 as a workflow? Most will be doing the opposite so with the correct transformation no data will be lost. Log is not a problem as long as it's captured using enough bits and enough chroma subsampling. The problem is when you shoot LOG in 8bits and 4.2.0 and then on top of that use high lossy compression codecs.
