I suspect the lad is under an enormous amount of pressure at the moment. I'd personally rather lose a few hundred dollars than be in such a position. I don't know the real story, but I can imagine that a young man wanting to be respected and liked, and with an underdeveloped sense of judgement and perspective, might make a series of bad choices. I was young once and I sometimes cringe at the things I have done. I suppose it is normal. But I am not the same person now that I was. A crisis can sometimes be a useful catalyst for change. In many stories the hero sets out on a quest of some sort. But he has a weakness of character, exposed by some circumstance, which causes him to stumble and fail, possibly becoming ostracised, or at least diminished in the eyes of others, in the process. Seeing how the hero responds to the difficult road ahead despite their weaknesses and failings is what keeps us on the edge of our seats. Those were the good times back when we were in med school, stealing xray film and chemicals to take 8x10" nudes, eating fetus to become stronger, having fun with the resident nurses, and kodachrome, oh god, kodachrome you still remember that one time...

Unfortunately, it seems so. I guess it is only a sad story of a teenager who's asking for a severe reprimand. The trouble here is the user himself says in his own signature he is 19 years old already.
 
I would have bought it from him too. I'd urge the young fellow with his face spread all over internet sites such as Vimeo, Instagram, etc to refund the buyers immediately, before the things may become even worse.

However, please consider, and if possible, clarify the following:
WU money transfer pick ups require an ID. I provided the name Ebrahim Ebrahim Saadawi. Collection of the money was confirmed. The conversation @IshootbeforeItalk had on facebook was with someone using your grandsons personal account, that's where that chat is coming from. So if hacking was involved, it is rather extensive... I emailed you wednesday July 13th on the emailadress you mentioned above (so before this forum post). You did not reply.

As bad as this is, in my opinion you should hold a bit back @Ed_David. I get the feeling we get back to medieval age when I read that we should "embarass him" and "destroy his reputation", especially since I get this dejavu with Philip Bloom.

Another lens test, this time with the Angenieux 15mm c-mount and the BMMCC...

But it's not. It's a 1.4. The exposure will be exactly the same as a 24mm 1.4, just with more depth of field.

I'll never understand that when a new tool is released to make life easier, there's a weird backlash. So what if people have been making due without it for years? If it makes life easier and makes the practice of what you're doing (in this case, pulling focus) more consistent and reliable, why not embrace it? 
It's just a tool. Don't use it if you don't want to or feel like you don't need to, but when manufacturers give us more options and open up more creative possibilities, it should always be celebrated IMO.  

With the C100 Mk III expected not soon after (according to schedule of previous model releases), I do not expect the 5D IV to have anything other than the addition of 4K at 24/25/30fps and PDAF for video shooters. 
I expect the next C100 to only add 4K and a slightly higher bitrate, as to not ruin the C300 II (which according to my rental house is not in demand at all because of the FS7). 
This sounds negative against Canon, but the fact of the matter is that their models work better than other brands at standard frame rates and overall usability. You can absolutely rely on C-series cameras for that reason. 
A good comparison is the RX10II vs the XC10. The specs on the Sony are monstrous but in reality, it's a terrible camera for video. Very overpromised. It's unreliable and is awful to use due to nasty focusing. The XC10 specs don't look great, but as a video camera it works much better. It's a decent B cam for the bigger models. 
Anyway, while we all waste time debating what Canon isn't doing and all that fuzz, let's look to the models that work today, which are perfectly fine for many of our needs.

All I know is that the 4K raw from the BMPC looked great when I shot it.
But so does the show "Curb Your Enthusiasm" from when they where still 4:3 SD, the colors and detail is smashing.
Just recently rewatched Seinfeld, the 35mm in SD looks amazing.
I just binge watched a new favorite photo channel on youtube, shot on the EOS-M with a 22mm, it looked great. Not once did I feel the image lacking.
Point?
Resolution is not that important. 1080p HD is still overkill for 99% everything being made.
What really matters is (leaving out content here), DR, colors, composition, mood, movement, etc.
And with DR its not so much having as many stops as possible, but more what you do with them.
You can always light, choose the time of day, bounce, crush, etc so the image falls within the DR you have.
Working with the limitations.
 

Please canon don't give us 4k, it will overheat and the rolling shutter issues will ruin your reputation. Instead give us 10 bit 422 at 2.5k with a good sensor readout (3ms), in different codec flavours with different storages rates. It would be nice to have the possibility to record to hevc 10 bit 422 and also pro res 10 bit 422 HQ. The rest you already do right.
