    Red basically realized they were selling the Raven way too cheap. 
    Pretty sure the profit margin on this new package deal went way up.

    Here is my latest NX1 edit. Including the dreaded exposure shift issue seen in the first shot...
    The majority was shot in 1080p 60fps & 120fps and graded heavily with DeLuts from James Miller.

    I think that video is correct.
    The 1DC was also less sharp when directly compared to a GH4 or NX1 back in the day.
    Of course we can argue endlessly about which image is better, the (over) sharp GH4/NX1 image or the softer image of the 1DC.

    Are you sure it really is exposure shift not the lcd automatically adjusting it's brightness? Do you see the exposure changing also when viewing videos on a computer?
    I thought I had this issue, but it was just lcd set to auto. Have to use manual brightness.

    Yes just reflash the old firmware and its back to the old one.

    ProRes, nice! File management was the main stumbling block on the V1 (raw)... This seems to address that well. 70 MPH too, jesus!!!!
    The main excuse is that it is also a professional STILLS camera!!!!
    Why does everything have to be so black and white on here. It's not even comparing apples to oranges.

    Denying the platform to speak is the real problem in a democracy. If Trump's rhetoric attracts people, we should look at why people are attracted to his views in the first place, and not blame media or Trump.
    I would never vote for Trump, but given the responses that float around I am starting to believe that there is a serious disconnect between people in the states. Maybe US just got the president that actually represents the views of the average citizen and that should definitely get explored more. 
    If anything this election will help people really understand the properties of a Democracy.  Are media biased ? Sure, but they should never be the platform of a Democracy.

    Just an FYI, the latest Hero 4 update gives you the linear mode off the new Hero 5 on your 2 year old GoPro as well.  
    Available at 2.7k and 1080p resolutions.
