I'm excited to share my new travel film I shot over 4 days in Yellowstone in August. This was my first video on GH5. I learned allot on this shoot. I hope you sit back and watch on a decent screen with some good sound and enjoy some CinemaScope nature bliss. Cheers.
Filmed on the Panasonic GH5. Filmed in HLG and Cine D profiles. Colored with Film Convert. Anamorphic lens used were the Baby Hypergonar 1.75x, Bolex 8/19 1.5x and 16/32 1.5x Anamorphot. The Rectilux 3FF-s variable diopter and closeup lens.
Taking lens used Pentax 300mm DA f4, MeVis 35mm f1.6, Carl Zeiss 100mm f2.8 and Pen F 38mm f1.8 with wide angle attachment in front.
 

Sounds close to correct.
I use the smallest extension tube and then a spacer (O-ring) I made out of some thin plastic cutting board. Titos method of putting wire in-between is pretty ghetto and unexact IMO. You can wrap some tape around it afterwards to stop the lens spinning (it kind of turns even when tight).

damn you get some serious height from that kite and i like that board with the winged keel that allows you to plane on the water that was cool i thought. the crashes were a  nice touch except where that guy hit that beam everyone was jumping off, i felt that from here..  ouch.. i dont really enjoy watching stuff where people are hurt but if they can walk or swim away thats ok (hope that makes some sense )  looks like someone won a few trophies :) . personally for me i would have likes to see a few more road signs if on a road trip as i like to know where we are going, in your short  those road signs just fly by but thats just me perhaps

Yeah this is just silly. I can’t believe it doesn’t have 24p in 1080?!?! Huh?
I think what this proves is that Canon does not see low budget video users as a target audience at this price point.
With that being said, I’m sure it will be a nice camera but they just saved me $600 because if I want Canon 4K or 1080p DPAF, I may as well just get an M50... 1.6x crop 4K crop on the RP or 2.5x crop on the M50’s... whatever. At least I can shoot 1080p at 24p on the M50.

I basically never use MLraw anymore, the 5Diii really only gets used for photos by me these days. Although I really love it, it's just not practical or suited to my needs so much. I'm probably going to get an E2 to go with my GH5 for the video stuff, they should be bringing a 4K Raw codec to the camera soon which will fill that raw hole  . I just want a small, light camera that shoots good photos without much work SOOC, seems like RP could be that.

Actually, no chance of being disappointed.  Since buying my GH5 I haven't been genuinely interested in any of the newer releases.  At least for my particular needs, nothing out there really comes close, and there isn't a lot with the GH5 where you think "gee, I really wish that it could..."

Handling with the Canons is great. They are quick to get up to speed and get the shot. I think this new camera has a place... not something I’m personally buying into. I want something with 1DXMK2 levels of performance with a modern video codec.

You might have had a case if you were using an A9 series (rest aren't even weather sealed). But the A6300... better than Canon.. for sports really? Cmon.
The joke of the LCD rear display with less than 1M px (not even half of EOS R's resolution) requires that monitor on top. Lack of ergonomics means you need that side handle.
That camera has worst RS than EOS R (more than double in FHD), overheats after like 15mn, AF nowhere near DPAF, no touchscreen, no IBIS/IS, weak battery life etc..
Yeah what a pro solution over Canon that camera is ? Better not rain during the game.. meanwhile Super Bowl last year:

the s1r is going to be 6-7000K in australia, I betcha.  and they're positioning it as a stills camera that also shoots video.  I dont really get it.

I think film is a lot like audio, where everything in the signal path just makes things worse, and the high quality stuff still makes things worse, but only by a little bit.
