The color science is great, a lot of blackmagic footage online is poorly graded or with a bad color balance.
It s good out of the box, with only two main options rec 709 or film if you plan to post produce the shoots, its not like sony where you have a lot of profiles but none are great.

> no prominent fan noise
> apparently useable atmo
> body sounds like yoghurt cup
> comparatively clean shadows (in underexposed parts), noise level acceptable (Dual ISO at work)
> noticed no moire
> slight but acceptable RS
 

Some observations:
The clip is obviously dropping frames. No doubt the SD card the person popped into the camera wasn't fast enough to keep up.
The clip was shot with a frame rate of 25P. I figured this out by interpreting the clip at different frame rates and at 25 the sound syncs perfectly with the picture. You can hear the clicks on the camera when the operator was changing the exposure. Each click should sync with a change in brightness of the picture. And this happens when the clip is playing back at 25P.
All in all a good showing.
 
 
 
 

For me the footage is smooth for the first ten seconds, then it starts stuttering. But it is, indeed, very promising :D

Looks very good. Out of curiosity, did you think of adding some grain? It already looks very impressive as it is, the grain may just add a little bit more. My two cents.

Seriously, do you not understand how business works? What do you think the scale of value is for camera parts vs a resolve license? Obviously BM wants people using their software but if you really think this is anyway screwing people over you are kidding yourself. The value of the software is insignificant for them vs hardware cost of the camera.
