Thank you for the info so basically metabons speedboster EF I can use my yashica lenses with adapter ?

Hi guys I bought my self black magic cinema camera 2.5k MFT I also have set of yashica ml prime lenses, I am looking to purchase metabones speed buster. On metabones website they have new speed booster  Contax Yashica CY Lens to Micro Four Thirds Speed Booster ULTRA x0.71 CINE I am not sure if this one will work with my full frame lenses and BMCC 2.5k  as I was researching it say it might vignette with full frame lenses. Also 6 years back I owned this camera with metabones speed buster and same lenses but can’t remember which metabones it was I only found a pic of it below I think it might be 0.64x version what should I do here any help would be appreciated

My most (very) recent one was shooting an entire goal celebration sequence on the 'grab camera' (basically a backup with a wide on it that we have on the floor in case of crowd/arty/players coming over the ad board shot opportunities) of probably 40 frames of the scorer deliriously celebrating a vital goal right into the lens and then discovering I had no memory card in it.
No, really.
I've had a few mishaps with long lenses in the heat of battle.
One being falling down a grass embankment at the Le Mans 24 hour race while carrying a Sigma 300-800 over my shoulder and tearing my shoulder ligaments. It was hour 1 of the race so I had another 23 of shooting to go in excruciating pain. The residual damage from that is the reason for my pro mirrorless experiments.
Another was spinning a Nikon 400mm f2.8 AF-I on a monopod from behind my shoulder (we have them pointing backwards rested into the shoulder for quick access) a little too fast and hitting myself on the side of the head with it. The reason I quote the full name of that lens is that its the heaviest 400 f2.8 that Nikon have ever made (just under 7kg) so it was quite a knock. 
Being hit with long lenses is quite an occupational hazard though in big games when we are so bunched together but thankfully most people have got the more modern sub 4kg varieties!
I could write a good few thousand words recounting my mishaps while shooting the Tour de France, which would include but not be limited to, a head on collision in a motorhome on a mountain, being punched by a police officer, being hit by collapsing metalwork when a team coach crashed into the finish line, having a fight with a farmer who was trying to steal my tripod and the time I was running really late and was waved through a checkpoint by a steward only to see the entire field bearing down on me in my rear view mirror as we hurtled towards the finish line.
I have also routinely forgot things.
Like batteries, monopods, remote triggers, memory cards.
And that I'd taken two lenses up to the very back row of the Nou Camp to do a wide stadium shot, meaning that someone got a very nice gift of a fisheye when they took their seat for the game a few hours later.
In my defence for all these mishaps, it is a very frantic and pressured working environment and things like this are inevitable.
Especially when you are as incompetent and accident prone as me

i man you can get a nice camera for 3000 does not have to be 4k. You can get full BMCC for under 3k. I just seen  few frames of a dp this frame was captured on BMCC 2.5k raw notice cinematography not 4k 6k 8k i mean it looks beautiful (http://www.bmcuser.com/showthread.php?20700-Frames-from-short-film-I-m-Dping)

I don't think we will ever watch films in VR well i don't i will just not the same experience human are social animals we like to watch film together be together and in my experience with VR is solitary experience and lets not forget that 20% of population cant handle VR motion sickness if VR ever takes off it will be in Games, architectural design and real estate. And watching thing in 8k that is few cm from your eyes i see lots of problems mentally and physically. PS turning your head around in 360 watching Jurassic park looking for dinosaurs looking up and down and shit i just don't see it.

It indeed looks like either part of an optical printer or reconfigured to or from print duplication use. Seen this lens being re-sold 2 or 3 times from different sellers without much time between auctions - which raises alarm bells as to its real practicality for filmmaking use (and where is footage of it at infinity and variable stops?). No doubt the optics are going to be top notch but I'd want to be assured that its focus can hit infinity with that aperture inside (causing added space between optics), since I would presume that lens was always intended for closeup duplication use, as part of a specific optical printer or telecine machine. I suspect that the variable aperture inside the lens is not going to make the image much sharper when coupled with a taking lens, but rather cut the light transmission to the taking lens and dramatically increase vignette.
In a nutshell, if it was the wonder lens that it is supposed to be, where is example footage of it resolving infinity focus and its results when stopping down with its internal aperture?
EDIT: Found an expired eBay auction that sold for $250 that confirms my hunch...
"This is is multiple lens assembly that was used at Deluxe Film Laboratories in Hollywood for 35mm anamorphic conversion to flat formats for theatrical trailers.  It should not be confused with camera or projector lenses.  Printing lenses are ulta sharp intermediate lenses designed to resolve 35mm camera original high resolution color negative without distortion.   The assembly consists consists of three separate lenses, each of which may be separated for individual use:
Isco Lens VII - Base Lens
Isco Anamophis Printing Lense 2x with Manual IRIS Ring (Like F-Stop)
Isco Lens III - Output Lens
 


I highly doubt the Isco printing lens can hit infinity without stopping it down to a crazy small aperture. You can see from the original configuration that it is basically used for near-macro focus distances, as part of an optical conversion chain. If it could indeed be used for filmmaking use, I would be interested to hear how on earth you would achieve infinity focus.

Any monitor is good for video editing you are just editing but color accurate monitor I would stay away from benq monitors for any color accurate work they simply are not accurate  if money is not an option i would get EIZO or FSI monitors these are the only two monitor brands you should be considering for any kind of color correction and grading workflow. Plus you will need calibration device to calibrate your monitor for color accurate work that is another ball game. PS if you are feeding your monitor via graphic card then your monitor will not be 10bit since your card is not 10 bit what you need is something like black magic mini or video card that supports 10 bit.
