  1. 2. Hi Guys, anyone here has shot timelapse with GH5s? Lately, I had a project shooting timelapse with it... and had some issues. The first problem, intermittently... the camera will stop shooting and came out a dialogue box that asked me to turn off and on the camera. After reboot the camera, the camera will continue shooting the timelapse in the same sequence... but the problem will come again couple of times in random. The interval of my timelapse is around 5sec per frame. second, my setup was 5sec interval.... set at aperture priority, Lumix 7-14mm... shooting day to night timelapse... when the shutter hit more than a second... sometimes it opened not not closing back... and cause the camera to jam and keep recording... hanged and not responding.. had to take out the camera battery to reactivate the camera. third issue... when rendering the timelapse into 4k video, it splitted into few different video files... probably cause by the camera stopped or hanged half way... but the camera didn’t indicate it stop the timelapse sequence... it just says ‘pause’.... Any thoughts or sharing would be much appreciated. thanks, Eric.

  5. HUF heads to the summit in our latest "Ascensions" film After kicking the Ascensions Series off with up-and-coming streetwear brand THFKDLF, we now turn our attention to established streetwear imprint HUF. Each video in the series is shot amid a vast natural landscape, with the intention of representing a brand’s rise toward the summit in their field. Since beginning as a small shop in San Francisco in 2002, HUF has turned into a strong name in the skateboarding and streetwear worlds. Donning the brands spring and classic garments, the model heads through an abandoned quarry and up to the UK’s largest drop waterfall, showing off both the clothing and landscape to full effect. 7. Hi guys! I'm an anamorphic newbie and just bought the SLR Magic Anamorphot. I'm planning on using it with my BMCC, BMPCC and also for timelapse shooting with my Canon 5D Mark II. I would like to know the details on how to stretch images and setup the correct aspect/pixel ratio on AE CS6. My normal workflow for timelapse editing is as follows: Shoot RAW images with Canon 5DII Deflicker on LRTimelapse Color correct on Adobe Camera RAW Import to Adobe After Effects CS6 to reframe, pan, zoom Export Pro Res HQ 1920x1080 Edit on FCP7 I would like to take full advantage of the 5D full frame and stills aspect ratio and output 2.5k and Full HD (horizontally) footage. I will probably edit the timelapses directly on Adobe After Effects. Thanks in advance for your help!
  8. I was on a vacation at Berlin. Wanted to capture some moments from that lovely city by day and night time. Sidenote for myself: don't shoot anythingat the underground stations with a camera, because almost got arrested about that. :l Please check and comment, Thanks!

  10. Hi folks, I have a bit of a dilemma about buying the GH3. Money is not the issue, its about portability with extensive traveling and going into remote places, being on planes alot etc. I have done a lot of review reading on the GH3 and as usual, with all the fast evolving technology, its a very seductive option. But I ask myself, do I really need an extra half brick to lug around with me, especially when by the time I master the camera, the GH6 or something else will be released. (Or a hybrid GH3 - GX7 would be amazing.) I could sell the GH2 of course, but that is not the issue. I like the GH2's smaller size and weight. So I guess this question may have been asked before, but I cannot find the specifics on this forum. What would users recommend for, 1. The most optimised hack for a GH2 that has the best Mbps (88?), that comes closest to the GH3? 2. The best hack for slow motion? 3. The best hack for timelapse? 4. The best hack that contains all these criteria? 5. How many memory cards (and what sizes) to hold all these - about 3? I am nowhere near as experienced as many members here. I have read up on all the various hacks around but have not tried most of them, so I really need to cut to the chase and not waste too much time. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read and respond!
  11. Hello people..  Being new here i don't want to put up unnecessary questions.  But i've recently seen a few HDR timelapse videos and i'm on the verge of ordering a GH3.    Is it possible to do the interval shooting in HDR mode or using barcketting with the GH3 ?    Cheers :)
