Oh, I'd disagree quickly with that.  Who we are in life is who we are as filmmakers.  Unless you're just a straight ahead craft-person singularly focused on the technical, you should always give some of what you and who you are are to your creations.   I mean, that's just a prerequisite for this sort of work.  
Otherwise, what's really the point, right?
So, I really don't have a problem with it.  There's more common ground that divergence (still) than we might admit.  Might be hard to believe when we're behind these keyboards a lot of time, but when one is actually out there in the real world it's evident.

First of all, Buttigieg claimed to have endorsements from dozens of black South Carolinians who did not endorse him. He also sent out a message with a list of endorsements that were implied to be from black people but many people on the list were white. This is racist in and of itself: he's putting words in the mouths of African-Americans so he can fool other African-Americans into voting for him.
He's also under a cloud of scandal for mishandling a police shooting (of a black person) in his town and also the firing of their first black police chief. The evidence against him is mounting, which is why he has so few black supporters and prominent blacks from South Bend have endorsed his opponents.
Sanders hasn't just been saying the same things for 40 years. He has been ACCURATELY diagnosing the problems of America. There are areas where I disagree with him and I'd be happy to tell you where. It's not a cult of the personality. I like his policies the most and I believe he would enforce them.
Say what you want about mental decline with age. All I know is that McConnell and Pelosi can predict the future of politics better than anyone else in the game. They know when a scandal is going to be a big deal and when it will blow over. They are more effective in their roles than younger folks have been. Experience counts. Again, I say that as a 30-year old but an avid reader of political news.

Yes, two very different cameras in form and slightly in function. For me I would still choose the S1H as I would value the pick-up-ability of it much more.  

Slanted lens did a comparison to the pocket 6k, see below. My take away is (my personal opinion, doesn't have to be yours) that the S1H colors look better and skin tones look better. Both cameras are similar and this comparison proves that anybody who claims the pocket 6k "destroys" the S1H just because of its popularity and codec are drinking the kool aid. The fact that the S1H can go toe to toe against a raw format, while also having IBIS, better battery, swivel screen AND almost more importantly for hybrid shooters also be a legit stills camera is a huge selling point.

One of the biggest selling points for the S1H video is the OLPF, which S1 doesn't have.

That is pretty disappointing for a $4000 camera tho, but hey trade offs to everything I guess. 

You just put me back on track towards the GH5.  A couple of those are deal - breakers. 

firmware announced, but oddly no mention for S1H. Update notes do mention a fix for blue clipping in vlog and a fix for afterimage, which I believe is the ghosting issue seen by some.

Saw that, unfortunately only have the S1H here which doesn't have a new firmware announcement yet.

Nick Driftwood is testing the beta version of the S1 firmware at the moment.
Nice. That would mean finally proper Cuda support like Resolve.
Would love to see some benchmarks and tests.

I guess I have to wait for the ProRes RAW update before I can monitor my 6K recording on an external monitor. ☹️

No XLR-1 support
No timecode
No HDMI LUT display / record trigger
No video property display layout
No unlimited recording

This is a creative art form we take on as filmmakers - I see nothing wrong with the approach by the filmmaker or the grade, if that was their vision.

You can't make up your own mind, unless you own your own a billion dollar streaming service.
Besides, if I quote a job to an agency, and they ask what camera I'm using, I'll lead with "...it's a 6K camera that's been approved for Netflix original content, but I can run it 4K if you guys can't handle that.", and I don't have to say another word.
Netflix is a proxy to the uninformed for quality. The name carries a lot of influence, and everyone knows who they are. If you go and say my camera is approved for original content from Pluto TV, people are going to say "WHO THE FUCK IS THAT?" Oh, yeah, they are a free streaming service, and they're great!
You would be bodily thrown out the creative director's office and banned for all future jobs!
We don't make the rules, but we have to play by them.

The URSA didn't get on the list with BRAW, they did it with ProRes.
I was going to sell all of my m43 kit and get two Panasonic S1 cams. Upon further research, the S1 didn't cut it for me even when the V-Log upgrade. Just too many video modes missing that I've grown to love from the GH series.
So I've decided to keep my GH5S with the PanaLeica 12-60 f/2.8-4 and add in the S1H. I just bought the Panasonic 24-105 f/4 and I'll be picking up the S1H next week. The nice thing is, I already have a Ninja V external recorder, so I should be ProRes RAW ready in the near future. I hate shooting from a mixed system, (different batteries, different lens, different colors to match and whatnot) but I'm also not dropping cash for two S1H cams either! ? 
I also have 2 or 3 pieces of FD glass that I just bought L-mount adapters for, so that should scratch my bokeh itch for the near future. Now I just gotta get some more gigs to pay for all of this shit!

Netflix won't take any prisoners from any "enthusast" camera no matter what the specs, so S1H is an impressive solid benchmark recognition of quality.  Now could 1DXMk3, or even FP, ever enter this terrotory, as I think 1DC was once approved for broadcast use ?

Anyone who even thinks about using BMPCC6K for Netflix production is braver than I am.

I think it is. I'm seriously thinking of adding a Shinobi, when I don't need the ProRes recording of my Ninja V and I want to get rid of the Ninja's horrendous fan noise.

Isn't the Shinobi better for the same price (on B&H)?
