I wonder whether the deluge of used/and or discounted P4Ks that many (not including me by the way ) thought would happen as people "upgraded" to the P6K ever materialised?
If anything i've seen the 6k used at crazy low prices, even CVP have had a few between £1600-1800.

Check out the Fxlion Nano One & Two. I got to see them at a trade show last year and they are incredibly small and can be charged via usb-c

+1 on the Glidecam recommendation. Ive been using a HD-2000 for a few years and it has never failed me. A mechanical takes longer to learn how to use but it gives much more natural results. You also don't have to worry about powering it!
I also wouldn't recommend any of the cheaper mechanical gimbals. I used a fly cam for a shoot once and it broke on the 2nd day. You can get a used glidecam very cheap nowadays!

RED Komodo

Jarred Land is claiming that the Komodo has similar DR to the Helium (16.5+ Stops) Even in global shutter mode. I know RED have always been bit liberal with there DR numbers but this is an interesting claim anyway. http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?177459-KOMODO/page283

Six weeks since the last post on here about the Pocket6K, did you all sell them or something
I've noticed the price drop quite a bit, even more for used stock, makes it quite a tempting upgrade from my 4k & metabones, not much of a price difference anymore as well.

Here is my P4K Film - Rec 709 LUT with built in natural highlight roll-off.
I created it for myself for monitoring & fast colour correcting. Hopefully someone here might find it useful, if you do let me know what you think!

Is it for Rec709 Footage?

It may just be a dodgy camera body ... BM is known for very quick support ... so you may start looking at

Looks like wooden camera are developing a PL mod for the P6K

Looks like the Tilta Cage is supported with the 6K by removing the Tilta logo. All new Tilta cages will be equip with the new logo. For existing owners, free (not including shipping) logo replacements that fit on the 6K are available.
If it was me I wouldn't bother and would just use it without the logo.

I think all the 4.6K cameras have different iterations of the same Fairchild sensor.
Its a shame the OG 4.6K hasn't had the BRAW update. The prices on them are getting very low, I've seen them go for as low as £2100 here in the UK

Yeah I remember you saying that, and forgot to thank you for your tips!
Does anyone here use the metabones support for the tilta camera? I see two different options on the website and one does say "PL type", which is not what I use but Nikon mount. So should I assume the other tiltaing support bracket is the correct? I have a Speedbooster ultra.
That one looks like the one I use for my Canon .64

But after seeing the P6K, you *know* there is a P8K coming just as soon as BM can get a sensor (full frame?) that has the appropriate specs and makes the ~3500 price point. They already have the EF mount and there should be enough room in the body for the larger sensor. I bet the P8K is out inside 15 months at $3495. What do you guys think?
Yeah I thought the same thing... it might be a year or two however.

I'm not arguing with you. I'm going by the low light performance being better from m43 to APS-C to Full frame sensor over the last two years.
So you're saying the GH5 just has bad low light performance for no reason? That it was just an oversight by Panasonic and that they just some how improved it with the Gh5S? Please post proof because I'm not taking your word for it. The trend in related cameras with the sensors above say other wise.
Okay the P4K should have better lowlight than the P6K despite being a smaller sensor. like you said the GH5&GH5S have almost the same sensor size but one is much better. Where are you getting this information anyway?

If you pick it up, it would be great to see some sample stills & footage on the P4k! I've been eyeing up a few of the ZE classic lenses
