You know what I was talking about. And you know people have asked if it was possible on the P6K.

And the jump up from m43 to APS-C and then full frame sensors does give you better low light abilities most of the time.  Look at the Gh5 to Gh5s and them the A7SII and the new mirrorless S1 and Z6 over the GH5.

You act like the P6K will be a step down from the P4K with sped booster.  You either have a P4K, GH5 or just want to talk down the P6K APS-C sensor vs M43.

No, A larger sensor doesn't give you better low light performance... but I don't think its worth arguing with you.

And untrue: I don't think P6K is a step down. If I didn't already have a camera, it might be the one I would choose

The P6K will do better in low light. This happens when you move up to a bigger sensor. The P6K also has better processor and gives you upgrades across the board in what it can produce.  Yes the P6K and P4K can work perfect together and that's great.

This is incorrect. A larger sensor doesn't mean better low light.

The P6K gives you a full frame look right out of the box compared to the P4K.

There is no such thing as the full frame look.

    Just got the Tokina 28-70mm f2.6-2.8 AT-X Pro. ?

What would be a great and cheap wide angle lens with filter thread to use with it?

enjoy it, my favourite lens by far! using the P4K & XL I can usually get away with 28mm on the wide end.

Not sure anyone on here actually has the 35-70mm ?

I saw one on eBay for £150 but someone beat me too it! should have pulled the trigger right away

  5. I read somewhere that they market the 2.6-2.8 as 2.8 in Japan so it could be that? However, I could be wrong.

Anyway the Angie is an incredible lens, perfect on the Pocket 4k with a Speedbooster!

Try shooting a blue sky, Braw is macroblock hell even set to Q0 and 3:1. Braw has looked good with everything else I've shot, but I'll have to rely on my trusty 5DMk3 with magic lantern for anything with a blue sky in it.

Can't say i've ever seen macro blocking when shooting a blue sky but maybe I haven't been looking for it, here's 2 3:1 braw clips on my hard drive and they look good to be with a fairy aggressive grade. They might not be the best examples.

Good to know, thanks! I always found that LUT a little harsh so sprung for that buttery films LUT.

I would be interested to see how it performs but i've always been satisfied with blackmagic's one.

cDNG is a way better but .braw doesn't visibly diminish it.

Yeah, my eye isn't good enough to distinguish between them, I prefer the workflow of BRAW but I totally understand why people prefer CDNG. Most of the time Im shooting in ProRes anyway, only using BRAW for bigger projects at the moment!

Feature request for Davinci Resolve - one click 'make my skin tones awesome' button.  Make it so, Blackmagic!

I didn't do much more than use the Extended Video v4 LUT and some lift gamma gain adjustments. (I did darken the bookcase on the wide).  I've been really impressed with the colours out of the BMPCC 4K!
