Sorry if I often post my tests but honestly I've never seen anything like it, and for a month I also paid 15 euros for runwayml which in comparison is unwatchable ..
We are not yet at professional levels probably, but by retouching the mask with fusion a little bit in my opinion we are almost there ... I am really amazed by what you can do...

From the same developers of the python software that allows you to have a green screen (and a matte) from a shot with a tripod and a background without a subject, I found this other one, it's called RVM, and it allows you to do the same thing even with shots moving and starting directly with the subject in the frame .. For static shots the former is still much superior, but this has its advantages when used in the best conditions. With a well-lit subject and a solid background, it can replace a green background

Or with a green or blue background you can have your perfect subject even if it just comes out of the background or even if the clothes she is wearing have green or blue
Now I am really ready to be able to shoot small scenes in unreal engine and I can also move slightly within the world itself thanks to the virtual plugin and these phyton tools
The problem is that the actor has no intention of collaborating ..

In case you were wondering where I'm up to...
Currently at the integration of some LIDAR, some Bluetooth, some WiFi, some Serial, some 9 axis IMU, some camera, lens and imaging control, some electrical tape and more than some coffee stage of proceedings.

Its weeks ahead of the last update so I'll do a proper update at some point about the twists and turns of the journey up to this point.

In this example I used a python script that allows you to have perfectly outlined images without any green screen, the camera must be placed on a tripod and then just a background image without the subject is enough and the script will do everything else ... not 100% reliable but when it works it's really perfect ...
I then used the "composure" plugin in unreal to try to put real and virtual in perspective ...

Now I'm experimenting with special effects to be inserted directly into unreal ..

This is a super simple example I'm working at the moment

I want to understand how much real world and virtual world can match without any effort like in this case...sorry for low resolution and bad mask but it's a very quick work

Unreal camera it's set to 21mm and my camera it's 12mm on apsc (18equivalent ), it's preatty similar but not perfect...

Someone kwon how to stabilize to a fix point the footsool in fusion and after that track the unreal world and assign the coordinate to the footsool?

This topic have made me mad...
Unreal engine it's very complicated to understand, and there are issue every 2 minutes for all that you want to do if you are not expert...

I've watched many tutorial on YouTube, starting with oculus quest (that I have) and other, but today I've maybe found my personal workflown...

Unreal 4.27 and virtual plugin for Android (80$), very easy to setup but at the moment there are issue for anything different than 24p (I want 25p and there's a bug)

I really don't want to use composure for merge virtual to real life, and I have chosen to add two track in davinci resolve (unreal world and real subject with a matte) in syncro (with waveform of music)

The matte will came from runwayml (15€ a month for 1080p) and I'm still forced to use some green screen in background (without light) to help rotoscoping.. In this way I can turn around my subject (my 5 years old son) in my living room without divorcing my wife

In the next days maybe I will be able to post some sample..

Yes, but A7S-III have a very much better slowmotion quality with a very much better af system, better rolling shutter and better stabilization using gyro data and fast shutter speed

I've purchased colorized aces slog2.cine3 and, finally, I can enjoy shot in slog mode on my a6300.... It's like have a raw file when you can get a proper exposure moving only one slider, i think that the same with withe balance..
Color are super accurate with finally red object that are red and not orange.... Thank you so much..

Gianluca reacted to currensheldon in Back from the dead? 8 reasons why I am warming to the tiny Canon EOS RP
I don't think that will be the direct comparison for very long. I think the RP doesn't really have any comparison and the EOS R is really the A7III and Z6.
Pretty sure a $3k+ EOS R(x? 1?) flagship mirrorless full frame camera will come before long. The RF lenses are too good and too pricey to be just for the EOS R and RP. In the next 4-6 months, we'll see the flagship plus a cinema camera or two to fill the holes.
Totally forgot that Canon is rumored to announce 5+ lenses tomorrow as well - that's exciting.

I've only watched a few videos, the lack of aliasing stood out to me when watching on a 4k monitor. Power lines and all those intersecting lines are clean from these three videos. This is just part of the screen cap, not a full 2160p image, hopefully it can be viewed at full size.
